Whoo hoo! I emailed Bella Box and they fixed the shipping problem… It was a Cratejoy error. That is exceptional customer service that they responded so quickly and fixed it. I got the six months at 50% so just $7 a box!!!

I bit the bullet and placed an order for the Austin batbox. even with shipping tacked on I’m still saving a reasonable amount of money on the sub, and Austin is my favorite city that I don’t live in. I was planning on quitting ipsy this month anyway so I’ll use my ipsy money towards that.

The sub that aggravated me was maiden moon apothecary! The price was $28 per month and $150 for 6 months, including shipping… BUT the code wouldn’t apply! Then I had to go to their store for $19 per month or $96 for 6 months, exclusive of shipping, but the code applied. So, instead of getting the sub for $75 as advertised, I had to pay $96… I requested a refund for the difference. That’s shady.

I think I might hate Cratejoy for this. I was so excited for this coffee subscription at 50% off but sure enough when I went to check out, shipping cost $88 which amounts to the the discount. What a waste of time!

I’m kind of bummed about the shipping fee on the Bella Bath box. It said free shipping in the box info but after putting the coupon on at checkout it added shipping equal to the price of the discount, si what’s the point. Just smacks of shady if the can’t be upfront. So, I got the stickii box since the checkout matched the info given. It’s a new box though so I hope they last 6 months!

I was annoyed at first too but soaps are heavy so I bought the sub anyway- $14 per month including shipping is cheaper than the stores. Although, after 6 months, I probably won’t have to buy soap for 3 years.

You might want to email Bella Box to tell them this happened. I emailed them and they had Cratejoy fix it. I joined with no shipping fee and got 50% off the 6 month sub. Maybe they can refund or do something to make it right for you. I don’t think it’s fair that you paid for shipping when it said free shipping on the description. The Bella Box CS was very good about answering my email right away. They had it fixed a few hours after I emailed them.

You’re right, it’s not that it’s a bad price, I just have issues with companies not being upfront about costs. The description on Cratejoy clearly says free shipping so I was irritated. Honestly it does look like a great box for that price. Unfortunately, my brain gets locked into the dishonesty part and can’t move on. I’ll probably regret that if I see reviews of it later 🙂

I just bought a 6 month sub to Sneakertub and shipping was also added when I used the 50% off coupon. So it really only ended up being a 20% off coupon…misleading, but I wanted to try the sub anyway.

The MOM25 code isn’t working for any three month subscriptions. I was trying for the three month Surprise My Pet sub, since it isn’t offered as a six month plan. Just to be sure, I tried the code on a couple other random boxes, but I keep getting the “Invalid!” message. MOM50 worked on a six month sub to Mindfulness though. Anyone else having this problem?

Maybe because you already used the 50% off code? It does say ‘limit one coupon per customer’. I don’t know if that means you can use each only once or just one of them?

I can’t get the 50% off code to work on Bumpy Box, it’s only $50/month, they won’t let you sub to 6 months. But bookcase.club is only $4.50/month!! with a 6 month sub, do you pay an additional shipping charge each month though?

I wasn’t thrilled about the shipping either, but it’s still saving me almost 30 dollars and I’ve been eyeing that one for a LONG time. I went for the 6 month one even with the 30 in shipping.

@amanda I wasn’t charged shipping it was shipping for the Bella spa box, it was $85-42.50=42.50 total for 6 month sub for me.

Just found out after you add the 6 months to your cart and the promo code, once you fill in your address it charges $30 for shipping.

Trying to figure out why shipping was so expensive. Here’s what I figured: It costs $5 to ship multiplied by a 6 month sub is $30 upfront, I guess. Normally the sub would cost $90 for six months so it’s $60 with the current promo. Ultimately more like 30% off a 6 month sub.
I’m going to look for a sub with free shipping. Hopefully then I can see the full 50% savings.
