May 2016 Luxor Box Spoiler – UPDATED

The fact that they listened to their customers makes me want to subscribe. Rachel Zoe needs to take note. Can’t wait for the spoiler to come out.

Im hoping the New Spoiler Item would be a 1951 XL clutch!! Omg that would so Amazing!! (SIGHS) ? I’m so glad they pulled out of the other one. They are saying our May box will have a RV over 350.00. I’m glad I didn’t cancel & held off.

I thought the clutch was attractive, but not at all Spring-like and I certainly have no need or another black clutch. Didn’t even look at whether it was sold anywhere else — but after reading the comments am delighted they pulled it.

I’m still considering cancelling. I no longer trust their judgement!
I LOVED the January box and November box, but March was just “MEH”
I’ll wait a few days before cancelling. My account isn’t charged until the 13th

Well…I’m very glad they pulled it. When I saw the spoiler the first thing I thought was…”swapping that.” The last thing I need is another black clutch. Hope they replace it with something more “spring”. I love Luxor and and glad that they are listening to their customers.

Well, shoot. I hurried up and cancelled based on the spoiler (to avoid being charged for a box containing a Wal-Mart clutch) so I really hope I don’t end up loving the replacement item. I can’t re-sub at the new rate of $129, but kudos to Luxor for the quick response.

Wow, I’m extremely impressed by Luxor’s response and customer service. I wasn’t one of the customer that emailed them, but they clearly heard and responded with lightening fast speed. This is a company that cares and wants satisfied customers. I’m staying with Luxor and am especially looking forward to another Mary Jurek item 🙂

I’m really confused by this.. the one at Walmart even uses the exact same photos as the Valencia collection on the Gresso website where the clutch is still priced at $70. It appears to be the exact same clutch in every way. I’m not sure who to be mad at.. Gresso.. Luxor.. Walmart..??? Me????

I just emailed them expressing my disappointment. .. thus is awful. I have already been charged. Do they usually release the big item in the box? So this would be the most valuable thing they send?

I actually thought about signing up this month sense I had a little extra cash. Nope nope nope. Black for spring? *runs away without looking back* if this is the hero item I still don’t think the other items in the box would justify getting it at that price point!

They just posted on Facebook that the clutch is PULLED from May and they will replace it with something else.

Super excited about the spoilers. New to subscription boxes and was between this and the Rachel Zoe style box. I wasn’t thrilled with the spoilers so I am leaning towards Luxor box.

Oh my goodness! You all are correct—-I finally subscribe to Luxor and my second box has a Walmart clutch….

And there is no canceling the May box…I know these boxes are always a gamble, but this is totally out of character from previous Luxor boxes..

Sigh…

I am curious what Luxor actually says about this. Possibly they will change the clutch if they hear the feedback.

Cancelled my account. I hadn’t heard of Gresso and when I looked up this clutch on-line, I saw it at Sears for $33. Based on another comment, it’s also at Wal-Mart for $28! Nope. I’ll pass, thank you. I’ll put my $125 towards something I actually want – which certainly won’t be a black clutch since IT’S SPRING!!! I’m actually quite shocked that Luxor would put this item in their box. Won’t this be their 1-year anniversary, too? Was the first box last May? If so, you’d think they’d put together a special box. Instead, I think they’ll be seeing a lot of cancellations.

I am going to email Luxor about the Walmart thing. Maybe if enough of us do they will do something.

Just Googled this item and it’s sold at Walmart for $28.74 and Overstock for $28.99. WTH? This is NOT a luxury item Luxor Box if I can get this item at Walmart! Hope the other items in the May box are going to make up for this!!!

So glad I am missing this box. It seems like a lot of repeats. The only box that I have really liked/enjoyed was their first May 2015 box and the Holiday LE Box. The others are repeats and at $129.00 that new subscribers are paying is to high for the products being offered. So disappointed with the last box and the Valentine’s box. I did order a petite box this time, I am sure it will only have 2 items in it but that is ok.

I also find it to be… aesthetically unappealing.

I am beyond bummed about this. I desperately hope the rest of the box is way waaaaay better than this since I was already charged for it.
