  1. If anyone wants to sell this box, let me know – I’ll buy it!

  2. I was upset this box went on sale before the date it was supposed to. I did check on it frequently just in case, but it sold out so quickly, I missed it. My daughter was so bummed out! She thinks that we are exactly like the Rory and Loralei. Lol!!

  3. I really liked a lot of things in this box, but I think next time I’d prefer to see more things inspired by the show (e.g., the go cubes and the book), rather than just novelties surrounding the show, like the print and towels. I mean, obviously you need some things from the show, like the mug, but I guess I was just hoping for more of a mix.

I’d love to find a book with the same whimsy and wit as GG, which is what I was kinda hoping for with this box. I’m definitely going to enjoy this book, but it’s less to do with GG and more to do with my appreciation for Sylvia Plath.

  4. HavIng watched GG growing up and rewatching now as an adult, I love this box! It’s amazingly curated and you can see the time and love that went into it! :). I ordere a really big shirt so that I can wear it as a night shirt! Each item resonates with a GG fan! :). Super happy with my first Lit Cube!

  5. Overall, I was happy with the box. The book sounds good. However, like others said not happy with t-shirt, my pro-con list is a lil bent, & my cell phone art has scratch indentations in it, I think from back of pins. The other stuff is great.

  6. I would love to buy this box off someone if they’re unsatisfied with it!

  7. I was really disappointed with this box. i like the mug, but the book is a few years old and some people have reported online receiving used or bargain copies with the marker line drawn through the bottom like you find in the clearance section of the bookstore. The shirt design i think could have been a lot better, but like another person said above, i will sue it as a home/night shirt. I would never wear it out of the house. It does look a little cheap, and i wish it wasn’t white. This was my first special edition lit cube, but i don’t think i will buy any more in the future. I was so excited to get it, so i wish i had liked it : (

    • So sorry you’re disappointed 🙁 None of our books are used, all are new, though we do sometimes purchase backlist titles from publishers. We don’t guarantee YA or brand new releases in our boxes, though we do try really hard to pick beautiful & well written books that we feel really fits well within the theme of the box. I think this book fit that criteria, though not everyone (obviously) would agree. Next month we have a book that isn’t brand new (published in 2015) but is going to be an exclusive print run *just* for our boxes with exclusive (never before seen) content in the paperback for Lit-Cube subscribers. We try a lot of different themes, products, books, etc., in our boxes so we realize our subscription isn’t for everyone. We do hope to see you back again in the future though <3

  8. I love the box! The curation was excellent. The T-shirt design could have been more wearble. I too thought it would be Stars Hollow related like those fantastic tea towels. Or, oh, a Hep Alien shirt, that would have been awesome. At any rate, I thought there was a possibility it would be something I wouldn’t wear out so I made sure to get a gigantic one to wear as a night shirt. I am a fan-girl when I’m sleeping. Happily wore it last night!

  9. I’d sell mine but I have no idea how to estimate the shipping in advance. I had high hopes for this but the items just aren’t of any use other than the two original spoilers. It didn’t occur to me that the t-shirt would be a fangirl shirt rather than something clever like a Stars Hollow t-shirt. Sad.

    • I had the same feeling about the shirt, but am enjoying the rest and figure there’s a fangirl out there who will enjoy the shirt. (:

    • Semi-agree about the shirt, but I thought it was cute that they incorporated the line from an episode (“that damn Donna Reed” I think)… from when they were making fun of Donna Reed and explaining it to Dean?

If it were my box, I probably would’ve gone with a “babette ate oatmeal” shirt… simple font, any Gilmore fanatic would know what it was, right? Otherwise a Stars Hollow shirt could be cute too…
But otherwise I’m good with the box as a whole. Mine was delivered yesterday but I haven’t been home to open it (sadface). But I’m super excited about the buttons, the pro/con list, the mug, and the towels (although the font doesn’t seem to be exact, but the reference is cute enough).

Geez, my Gilmore Girls addiction might be a problem, haha.

      • The tee design was a reference to that scene and we thought it translated well to reference not only that scene but also the overall feeling over loving the Gilmore Girls tv show 🙂 There are tons of generic GG tees out there, we wanted to do something a little special. <3

        • Agreed – I thought it was a cute reference. TBH, I don’t think I’d necessarily wear ANY Gilmore Girls t-shirt outside of the house (unless it was the navy ‘babette ate oatmeal’ or other sly GG-reference shirt) so this was fine for me. But I just Google searched and found the ‘topical reference from around town’ shirts at CafePress… who knew those existed? haha.

I will wear the shirt inside the house, and all of the other items are great. The only line I wish made it to the buttons/pins was “Oy with the poodles, already!” but since “copper boom” made it, I’m happy with my GG box to myself (for my belated b-day gift)!

          • now I want a Babette Ate Oatmeal tee shirt! Gilmore Girl 2.0 box? 😉

          • Don’t toy with me….

I would SO be into a GG 2.0 box! 🙂

  10. I ordered this for my daughter & received it today. Can’t wait to give it to her as she is the biggest Gilmore Girls fan & is going to be thrilled. Definitely one happy mom.

  11. I will buy this box off soneone!!

  12. Already sold out. So sad. 🙁

  13. I love the curation of this box! And those hand towels are super cute but I have never been a Gilmore Girls fan so I didn’t order this one. I’m so looking forward to her next limited edition box she puts out!! Can’t wait ?
