Ipsy Reveals Are Up for the April 2016 Glam Bag!

This is my 4th Ipsy bag and they hit it out of the park for me this month in terms of value plus desirability of the products for me. The first 2 months were good but maybe 2 out of 5 products didn’t work and were given away. For $10 a month, this does not disturb me in the least. If three things work for me that are over the $10 price point that I paid, and my daughter or a friend might enjoy the others, that is a win/win in my book.
Month 3 was great and over $70 value. But this month, just WOW – $86.62 Value and I love love every single item (except that bag but oh, well). i got the following:

*Briggeo 0.33 oz sample $4.62 (value based on 2 oz full size for $28)
*Luxie Dreamcatcher Highlighter Brush $24
*Tarte Lipsurgence in Wonder $12 – this color is very wearable and not the bright red it looks in the tube. I am super pale but with dark brown hair and I struggle with reds. One that works YES!!!!!
*Ren Evercalm Global Protection Day Cream $26 (Value based on $45 for 1.7 oz size, sample is 1.02 oz)
*Trust Fund That Glo Tho Highlighter $20 – the “highlight of the bag I might add!!

I am almost 50 and I used feel Ipsy catered to a younger demographic, based on their heavy use of social media and some of the brands I saw featured. But I filled out my profile very honestly and have not touched it since subscribing, nor have I done product reviews (due to the low points they give out compared with how many you need to actually use them). And, fingers crossed, my bags just get better and better each month. I am almost superstitiously scared to change it for fear of changing the trajectory of how good my bags have been. I feel this just might be the bag they cannot top, mostly due to that amazing Trust Fund highlighter, and the high overall value. I feel bad for those that seem perpetually disappointed with their bag contents. Just had to share and hope everyone out there gets their unrivaled Ipsy bag moment 🙂

I wasn’t sure I was going to like the eyeshadow because it didn’t seem like my color but it was totally different in person. The lipstick is fabulous. It sets and stays on and I am in love with the color. Total win fo rme.

This is my first Ipsy bag…I mean, these things will definitely be used! I just don’t know if I want to continue to spend $10 on this stuff when I honestly don’t NEED anymore products. But I really like this months colorful makeup bag…super summery

I’m very happy with the bag but I would be open to trade the sheets or the oil. Once the highlighter comes, then I have to see if it looks good on pale skin.

If I ordered An Ipsy offer and I only wanted two of the items, can I add the other 3 to swap? They came from Ipsy.

I really wish that would let us rate how much we would like to receive products that came as option in the bags that we didn’t get. If they did this they could make us really happy and move out extra samples from the previous months.

Better bag than some months

So I don’t know what I’m getting (I prefer to be surprised) but since I hate nail polish and don’t use primers, I’m sure as a fact that I will get both. The thing I love most are lip products, and I would die for the tarte one, which means I will never get it 😐
I swear, 80 girls here say they are getting the tarte lippie, half of them don’t even want it, but there is no chance that I will get it 🙁 ipsy sends me a nail polish every month. I can open a store of primers, mascara and nail polish, but I never get any lipstick!

I think the only thing I don’t really want this month is the LipSurgence since I don’t wear lip color. I don’t use highlighter either but, I could always learn. As long as it’s not a bronzer LOL. The reviews for the eye pencil are good but, I am picky when it comes to eyeliner!
