Book Riot + Quarterly Parting Ways – 2 New Boxes Launching

Quarterly and Book Riot are parting ways. The regular Book Riot box is no longer listed on the Quarterly site, and I'm guessing the Book Riot YA box will be gone once the April box ships. And now both companies have their own new book boxes:

Book Riot will be launching Book Mail - a non-subscription box.

The Box: Book Mail

The Cost: $60

The Products: A new box will be available every few months, each one will contain books and bookish goods that share a theme, and the contents will be secret. There are some key differences, too. Book Mail is *not* a subscription, so you’ll get to choose when you want in, and it will have even more custom items created just for buyers, and you’ll get first crack at new items for the Book Riot Store!

The Subscription Box: Quarterly Literary Box

The Cost: $50 + $5 shipping to the US

The Products: Books, exclusive content and bonus items.

What do you think of this news? I've really enjoyed my Book Riot boxes in the past, so I will definitely buy their one-time-purchase boxes in the future. Check out my Book Riot reviews and my Book Riot YA box reviews to see what has been in past boxes.

I dropped Book Riot Quarterly after maybe 3 boxes, but I continue to get Book Riot’s mystery boxes from their own website. This is great news! Their curation is always on point. I’ll be ordering for sure.
