I love these fun, bright pops of color!! It’s such a refreshing change from the darks and neutrals of Fall & Winter. I’m soooo ready for SPRING!!

Utena

Completely agree! While I love darker colors and neutrals for the cooler months, I’m ready for the change of warmer weather and bright colors. I skipped last month, but this month’s colors look great!

Am I the only one who totally doesn’t care if polish colors match the season?

Cathy

Love these colors. I’ll be grabbing the blue and the poppy color. Also really excited to try the solid cleansing balm for travel. I’m in for April!

Not a fan of jellies. Looks like I will be skipping this month.

Rosemary

They might not be jellies. I was just speculating. However, I need any excuse to stop getting more nail polish…I have so many and I don’t know which one to use next.

Not crazy about the colors and definitely not interested in the solid cleanser. I recently got one in Pop Sugar, maybe the February box. Not to say it’s bad, I just haven’t tried it yet. I’m happy to skip another month. I would like to buy a mystery box if I knew it would be more makeup or skincare heavy instead of nail polish heavy.

I can’t wait until they get into lip-liners. I have been trying to find a dupe for one that I used to use 20 years ago….it was the perfect nude color if you have blue undertones. One of the great things about this subscription is that I am turning over my make-up much quicker, as it is affordable to get replacements. Much more hygienic than using products when they really should be discarded.

I like the thought of them doing a lipliner!!! I swatched the eyeliner on the back of my hand and it stayed on for over 24 hours! (With me being a frequent hand washer!) Had to remove it with a waterproof eye makeup remover! Still had beautiful color!

mimiretz

I love the bright colors, and will love them even more if they’re jellies!

Sara

I just signed up for Julep, do I get to pick the first box, or will they just send one? But I should be able to pick my selections for April right?

Kim

I am looking forward to trying their stick face cleanser! I have been using their Bare Face cleanser.. I am loving it! I have eczema, dryness on my normally combination skin makes my eczema worse… Their oil based cleanser has been great! I get their shower gel – only during the secret store time!

Rosemary

Have they brought out a video about the April haul?

Kim

If not, call their customer service, they are awesome!

If you signed up through the offer listed in this post, you’ll get to pick the items in your first box from the April selections! 🙂 Hope that helps!

Looks interesting for the gym or travel.

I’ve been skipping my Maven boxes the past few months, but that solid cleanser has my interest. I’m in for April.

Rosemary

I didn’t think I was going to like the metallics from March…until I saw them in person. I am wondering if they are jellies…if they are, I am in (again).

Randi

That cleansing balm stick looks really interesting… I might have to get a box this month to try that out. And I want to know how to paint my nails to get that effect like the pic?

Reply ButtonReply

Jenn

A fun thing about sheer brights is it’s really easy to get that effect without doing anything complicated like water marbling or using sponges for gradients. The polish consistency is very watery, so she just dropped colors on and swirled them together with a dotting tool or a toothpick, or maybe just the polish brush itself. Layer them over a metallic silver instead of white and they have this awesome look of depth and glow to them.

Randi

Thanks Jen & Jenn!
I might have to try doing this to my nails

Jen

I believe that’s the water marbling trick with jelly colors.

Molly

not wild about these so glad I can choose other colors

Ragan

My thoughts exactly…
