  1. Has anyone received their Feb box or even their tracking number? Also, does anyone have a contact phone number for HL? All I see is their email.

    I have emailed on numerous occasions to get an update on tracking as I placed my order 2/3 and they are really giving me the runaround, telling me to check my email (hello! obviously! I wouldn’t be emailing if I had received it already) and that the tracking info can be found on my account info online, but I don’t see the actual specific tracking number anywhere. On their FAQ, it clearly states tracking info will be emailed or to contact them via email if it has not. They stated in an email from a week ago that my package had shipped, but didn’t provide any tracking. So shady! HL has been a nightmare dealing with and is by far the worst sub in terms of CS. I cannot even talk about the quality or lack thereof the items as I have yet to receive them!

    Does anyone have any additional helpful information?

  2. I never know if their spoiler pictures are just nicely styled or if what’s picture will be in it, but THAT PLATE. I so want it! HEART EYES!

  3. *trying* to avoid sweets, so will pass on this box.
    LOVE that they tell you the contents up front so you can skip any month you don’t want.

    I think their Power Bowl box is my all-time favorite subscription box. Has transformed my weekday lunches!

  4. Has anyone gotten a shipping notification for the February wok box?

    • I haven’t. 🙁 When I’m logged into their site, the “my box” section says my box has been shipped. However, it has said that for over 2 weeks now, so I don’t think that’s accurate. Hoping the box comes this week.

    • Nope, still no word on my Thai box. ?

    • My box status changed to ‘processing’ on the HL site last week and hasn’t updated since. I’m wondering if switching some folks to the flat bottomed wok may have slowed their process down this month? Hopefully it starts moving soon!

    • I emailed them last week since mine said shipped but never got a tracking number. After reading the FAQ’s it said they send tracking numbers and email them if you have shipping questions – so I did. They responded and said they haven’t shipped yet. Today it says processing. Kind of peeved since they charged me for it plus the extra for the flat bottom. Hopefully they will toss in something else for the delay.

    • I haven’t received shipping notification either & was charged on 2/6!
      That’s not cool!

      The e-mail announcing the box said they would be shipping on 2/15. When I was charged, I thought maybe they were ahead of schedule & would be shipping early. But no….

      Just sent an e-mail, will let y’all know what response they provide….

      • They responded quickly:

        “Thanks so much for reaching out to us about this. Unfortunately, we are currently experiencing unforeseen delays with the delivery of the woks that are included in this month’s Taste of Thailand box. We are doing everything in our power to expedite their arrival and are expecting the Taste of Thailand boxes to ship by the end of this week. Once your box has shipped, you will receive an email detailing tracking information and expected delivery date.

        We apologize for the inconvenience & appreciate your patience!”

      • I wish they would have sent all their subscribers an email that said that up front. I would have understood and been fine with it because I understand things like that happen. Instead I feel like they are just leaving us hanging.

        Thanks, Anna, for posting their response because without it I would still be waiting eagerly for my shipping confirmation.

      • I got the exact same canned response today after emailing them twice to see what was going on. The Thai box was the first box I’ve purchased from them. Ordered it on 2/3 and was expecting the box to have already shipped, but nope. Would have been courteous for their customer service team to inform subscribers of a delay as they are obviously experiencing one. Not sure if this is the type of company I will continue to subscribe to due to their lack of communication.

      • I did go ahead and cancel my subscription since they automatically bill at the beginning of the month regardless of when they will ship.

        Will buy a box when I see one I like, but don’t want to stay subscribed to them because of that….

      • They did send out an email early today talking about the delay, in case anyone didn’t see it. They said their ‘launch email’ predicted a delay to 2/15 (which I don’t seem to get since they always seem to assign me to old boxes, not the new launch), but now it looks like the box is most likely going to arrive in early March. I agree they should have updated us sooner, but at least they finally sent something:


        We are sure you have been anxiously awaiting the arrival of your Taste of Thailand box, and good things do indeed come to those who wait. We foresaw a later ship date this month, expecting your Taste of Thailand box to leave our warehouse the week of February 15th as indicated in our launch email. Unfortunately, we are experiencing a much longer delay in the arrival of the woks into our warehouse. We hope to be able to ship your box to you no later than Monday, hopefully sooner.

        We apologize for the delay and any inconvenience this may have caused. Thank you for your patience and understanding! We promise it is well worth the wait. If you have any questions or concerns about your order, please email us at [email protected].
