Ipsy January 2016 Spoilers Round #2!

Has anyone gotten the darker shade of eyeliner this month? All I see when I look at reviews is the golden/bronze liner (which I’m getting). I was just curious to see how people liked the dark purple/maroon (I’m not sure exactly) color.

Just so you know, the January glam bag is showing already!!

This will be my last ipsy bag. Sick of sampling the same brands over and over again, angry that they clutter my Facebook page even though I’ve turned off social media multiple times…just over ipsy in general.

I like Marsk eye shadow, but not the brown/bronze shades shown. I mean, really, how many “neutral” shades can one woman use? I personally would rather have roses and/or violets.

It’s the same brands over and over again. And these brands aren’t making me want to stay. Hopefully the rest of the bag will wow me. I know it’s just $10 a month but it would be nice for nicer/more popular brands to try.

I DETEST Be a Bombshell, JCat and Hikari and use that exact word EVERY time I review, yet what do they sub items that got lost or broken with?

Let’s just say when I had 4 bags coming to my household, we ended up with NINE “eye base” in “Submissive” and it’s basically shiny yet murky marbled brackish gold creamed mineral oil.

They said it was like a primer initially, yet they subbed it for the beautiful, all natural bronze Mica cream eyeshadow, even though they had more, for ipsy points. So NOT fair! I loathe mineral oil, paraben loaded products and the three above are full of them!

It sort of surprises (yet doesn’t surprise) me that Ipsy is still sending out Be a Bombshell/Hikari products. Bummer that they don’t listen to what their user base wants. I hope I don’t get that Hikari eye shadow.

The Instagram pic is a little more promising. I’ve never heard of the Peek Beauty brand before, & now I’m intrigued.

Uugh no more brown eyeshadow sets!!! I’ve already received two from ipsy in the past 4 months.. I like them, but I’m really wanting something else… I need blush, lipstick or BB cream, concealer!!!
No gloss or pencils either… I have sooooo many

I desperately hope I get the Jelly Pong Pong mascara from the Instagram pic!! It’s an HG for me since it’s the only mascara I’ve found that stays put on my lashes.

I’m also hoping a lot of them show up on the swap boards so I can trade for several. 😀

Maybes a bluefish grey or some form of green. There are so many other colors besides the brown shades.

I don’t need or want any eye makeup. I’m set for awhile. I got an eyeliner from them last month. I’m getting the mr write eyeliner from them already And I’m getting the eyeko in my bb. When do the full spoilers come out??

I hope I don’t get either Pixi Eye Shadow Duo or Marsk Mineral Eyeshadow, I have received them in past boxes and they are always the same boring brown shades.

I’m hoping I don’t get eyeshadow. I already have more than I’ll ever use.

I think the only thing there I wouldn’t be delighted to have is the Pixi eyeshadow duo. The brow trio they sent me a few months back was probably my least favorite item I’ve ever gotten, so I’m a little gun shy with the brand, now. I have no issues with receiving mascara except that I have about five backups sitting in a drawer already with another one from a Target box on the way. Everything else intrigues me.

I signed up but they put me on a waitlist. I don’t do social media at all, maybe it’s time to join the inevitable.

Still not missing Ipsy at all, it’s a lot of repeats. But I like that it’s more full sized items compared to Birchbox. But every month I got another bronzer or mascara or eye liner which I don’t use. So I canceled a few months ago.
