Any full spoilers yet? Mine is arriving tomorrow and I can’t wait to see what’s in it!

I love this subscription but I’m not a fan of the necklace and since its such a big part of the overall value…I’m going to pass on this. I hope that everyone who is getting this box ends up loving it!

I have had only good experiences with this subscription company. The value is always way higher than what you pay and I swap almost nothing. Customer service is amazing. When my gorgeous vermeil Meredith Hahn bracelet was stolen a week or two after I received it they sold me one at their own greatly reduced cost I think (and sent me a Henne lip balm and a really nice handwritten note). It was a no brainer for me to get both the gold and the silver LE. I have been slowly moving from my smaller monthly subs to a few quarterly and limited edition boxes. I am spending the same money but am much happier with what I am getting and the communication with this company is worlds better than with other sub boxes.

I actually would have liked getting a wallet! However, it’s interesting that after all the speculation here that it “must” be either a wallet or coin purse that this comes out that it’s NOT a wallet or coin purse. Perhaps someone from Luxor reads the comments here?

I purchased the last box and ended up keeping the tray, card and planner all which I adore. So seeing the spoilers for this box caused no impulse to have me purchase. Then I saw the necklace options and saw that it comes in matte gold, which is something I gravitate towards; so i decided to purchase. Then I contacted luxor to ask about the matte finish and they stated that it will only come in shiny… bummer. I think he BB item is a leather bound journal because it would be a low value item compared to the necklace or at least that is what I am hoping because the last box had values all similar to each other so I hope this box is keeps it that way.

I seriously doubt it’s a journal. Uggghhh….

...

now I really regret as I don’t want a leather bound journal. his stuff leans toward masculine as it is (though I do love that pouch). I would just have no one to give a journal.

Isn’t a journal a (smaller) accessory? :/ I just assumed “full size” referenced a purse or tote, rather than a smaller item.

I was thinking a purse or tote too but based on prices / retail values it doesn’t make sense b/c the necklace is $315 and the total box value is $700… most BB small bags are over $400!

So the leather bound journal or 2016 planner makes more sense $$-wise. But then why would they say that if you loved the Mini Leather Pouch, you’ll be “blown away” by this new item? That makes me thinks purse or tote… His shopper tote on his web-site right now is $400 but even a small tote would be worth at least $250-$300? Which doesn’t leave much retail value for the rest of the items. I guess we’ll see!

I love the necklace and I’m really curious about what the BB item might be but I’m still hurting from holiday gift shopping. I wish they would have had this sale early or mid January because my heart says, “yes” but the credit cards say “NO!”

Well, I wasn’t going to do it, I was really holding strong and then I just gave in and bought it. Luxor has been my favorite lately, so I couldn’t say no! I hope it’s a great piece from BB that makes it all worth it 🙂

...

oh no. I just bought it and now regretting it. what isn’t an accessory? Maybe a home item. I don’t need any black leather home items. :/ what else is not an accessory? well, for those who don’t buy, I’m sure there will be full boxes for sale. my first box w/ them was that “most requested” with the discounted junk. it’s still burns.

that said, I LOVE my BB item that I got in the Nov box. Just those makeup and brushes from the requested box were my first experience with them….

I just can’t do it.. not soooo soon after Xmas with and the charge for my first monthly box (I think it will be in Jan?) already making me cry over my post-holiday credit card bills. I also noticed “new” in quotes.. and agree that they are clueless about layout & design so I don’t know if it’s significant or just unprofessional. Wouldn’t the lowest price full size BB item be something like a tote? And wouldn’t that be like a $400 item? So I’m guessing perhaps a scaled down tote. That plus the necklace eat up almost the entire value and I have no use for a heart necklace. No offense to ladies who actually like them but I haven’t worn anything as cheezy as a heart necklace since I was about 12 and I don’t care what it’s plated with, it’s still a silly little heart! I actually don’t care for the chain being knotted through a hole in the heart. I just don’t like the design. I’ll be interested to see what else turns up in this box when the reveals are posted and I’m very much looking forward to my first ever Luxor.. I think it will be at least a luxe throw and a rather beautiful blue snowflake mug, from the spoilers. That will have to be enough “Love & Spoil” for my credit card!

I’m really on the fence about this one! I’m not crazy about the necklace, but maybe I’ll like it more in person or use it for swaps. I loved the BB clutch though. I wish we had a dollar value for that item. What does everyone think it is?

Reply ButtonReply

...

I’m not getting this because I wouldn’t wear the necklace, but I think it’s nice that they address people’s concerns. They listen, and that’s one of the reasons I signed up for the January box. It seems like they really try to get items people want.

Although I wonder why “New” is in quotation marks… maybe it’s a variation on an existing product rather than a purely new one? Or maybe it’s just bad editing/typography. (The unprofessional graphic design was the reason I didn’t sign up for them originally. But it’s probably just designers like me that would notice.)

Laura L.

Maybe the quotation marks are just to add emphasis?

To the lay-person and non-pretentious, yes it was added for emphasis. You were on the money. It’s merely you grab your attention. 🙂

...

That’s not what quotation marks do. They need a proofreader.

Yep I bought as fast as I could once they confirmed that the BB piece was a full size piece and not a wallet or coin purse. My wallet is burning hot, but I am having fun lol! I justified it as I was going to stop at home goods today later on the way home. I always drop $150+ there so I wont go there. Boom, justified the purchase.
