I think I am going to get my mom to buy this for my belated Christmas present 🙂

I have subbed to the regular one. I really want the BB piece.

Yep, I bit. My wallet hurts from both Luxor purchases…however with the email today from Luxor guaranteeing the BB piece is full size and not a wallet or coin purse, I was all in as fast as my little fingers could confirm my amex.

i have to skip. The necklace is just ‘meh’ to me

I ordered the one with the gold necklace. IF I knew more about the other contents, I’d also order a silver one. Their super short ordering period is annoying.

I’m glad they do LE boxes alternating with reg. boxes. It’s only $35 more than what I pay for every other month regular boxes.

I love luxury items and have never been disappointed with my Luxor Boxes. Can’t say the same for Oui Please and a few from Quarterly that are also $100 a box.

ANOTHER LE box from Luxor?? … The LE’s are just alternating with the regular sub boxes at this point. Right?

Personally, I’ve liked the regular sub boxes better than the LEs so far. Can’t wait for that throw in January’s box!!

I’m passing. The necklace isn’t my style. I’m also betting that the Brendon Blackwood piece is going to be a wallet or coin purse – which I won’t use.

nope – pass – been burned
if I love something very much, hopefully i’ll get it in trade

me too! that “most requested” was my first Luxor.

If the necklace is valued in the $300 range and the total box value is in the $700, then the Brandon Blackwood piece is more than likely a wallet. Given that his totes and other items retail over $800 each….

I bit. The necklace is just gorgeous! I ordered the gold one, as most of my layering necklaces are gold, but I also have a kind of “transition” piece that I can use if I want to wear it with silver. I’m looking forward to everything else in the box too, as Luxor boxes are usually filled with great items.

Oh Luxor box…you are why I am poor.

Ugh, this. But I just cancelled Popsugar, so it will balance out eventually right? Right? Ack.

The addiction is real. My “savings” account is really more of a “money I transfer back into checking to buy LE boxes” account.

Hoping the BB item is something more substantial than just a coin purse. I wasn’t wowed by the necklace (even though I do like hearts) until I saw how it’s worn in additional pics on their website – layered with other necklaces makes it so pretty! I shouldn’t have ordered one since I’m really trying to cut back on unnecessary purchases but I did go ahead and get one in silver. Plus Luxor *always* does a wonderful job – they are one of my fave sub boxes – can’t wait!

Loved the Luxor LE Holiday box, am really tempted to go for this one but I just have to skip. If $150 I would probably do it but $200 after Christmas is just too much for me to invest. I’ll enjoy seeing others open this one though!

$200 is a lot (for me) to spend on a mystery box even with 1.5 spoilers. I skipped the Luxor Holiday box even though I REALLY wanted the clutch – I was seriously considering it and then the color I wanted sold out. (My procrastination method has saved me a lot of money!)
I would like this necklace and silver but don’t need it… would love to know what the Brandon Blackwood item will be – so tempted!!

I was definitely going to skip the box until I saw that there will be a Brandon Blackwood piece. Now I’m torn. I wish the spoiler told us what the BB piece would be. I really can’t afford a $200 box right now, but I love BB. I’m wondering if I’m better off buying something right off the BB site rather than buying this box blindly only for the BB item when I have no clue what it will be. I don’t really need a coin purse, but would love a mini bag or clutch.

My wallet sorely needs a break from the Luxor LEs and I think this will be the one I skip. I’m sure it will be well curated but I’m not a jewelry or handbag person. I’d be interested to know, given the rather high MSRP on that necklace, if it’s solid or plated.

I just can’t see the value unfortunately in costume jewelry to make it worth it. The only costume piece I have received in a box that I felt was anywhere close to retail value in quality was the Mansai bracelet. For $200 I would rather purchase a real gold necklace. http://www.ebay.com/itm/14K-Yellow-Gold-Heart-Love-Multi-Strand-Pendant-Necklace-17-QR-/291648731174?hash=item43e79e7826:g:iC8AAOSwJcZWdXhp

Inshould have done a quick web search before I replied. It comes in 18k vermeil or solid sterling silver.

Heidi

I would think plated, since the value differential between solid silver and solid gold would be quite large, leading to lots of complaints that one person’s box has a higher value than another’s.

Hannah

I found it on her website, and it looks like it’s gold plated sterling silver.
