Birchbox has launched their latest beauty line: Arrow. More on the brand:

Specializing in lightweight, long-wearing makeup and refreshing skincare, Birchbox beauty brand ARROW is designed to keep up with your on-the-go, active life—whether that means going straight from pilates to brunch or just powering through an action-packed, appointment-filled day. Each breathable product creates a fresh, natural, beautiful effect, so you can feel cool and confident from an A.M. gym session to a late-night work session (and everywhere in between).

What do you think of the new Arrow brand? I love that every product in the ARROW line is vegan, paraben-free, cruelty-free, and gluten-free! (The deodorant is aluminum free too).

Here is a closer look at each product:

It looks very minimalist, green and almost gender neutral…maybe to appeal to a wider audience. I thought it reminded me a lot about “Arrow” on CW 🙂

The name and packaging could have definitely been better. For some its all about the packaging.

I agree – the graphic design seems very poor – aggressive, unattractive and not reflective of the product. And why the name Arrow? All in all, the branding leaves much to be desired, IMHO.

I agree. For some reason the packaging looks really cheap.

Chapstick for $14. Go Birchbox!

You literally made me laugh out loud! I couldn’t agree more.

Seriously! My absolute favorite lip balm that I splurge on occasionally (Pangea) is like $13 but it’s exactly TWICE the amount of product as this one.

I continue to be concerned about their creating their own lines. But the color collection was pretty good so hopefully this one will be too.

I’m kind of not excited about this. Tinted lip balm – meh. If that is the color, it won’t show up on me (or probably anyone else) and I have like 25 open lip balms right now anyway. Give me aluminum in my deodorant, please. “Natural” deodorants don’t work for me (many give me rashes) and I live in Georgia, so I need an antiperspirant. Might try the cheek tint but I already have an entire train case full of blushes and cheek stains (not to mention several blush palettes that won’t fit in the train case).

Would like to see some skincare item from this line instead. Even if it’s just moisturizer or a cleanser. I would get excited over something like that.

I did read that they were releasing a cooling face mist in the spring, so hopefully more skincare products are coming our way. That being said, I did love that they made the cheek tint in two shades, and the dark berry one looked very lovely on darker skin, which is a plus since women of color often have issues finding makeup that will flatter them.

Agreed – I live in coastal SC (75 degrees today), and I need antiperspirant. I tried Tom’s of Maine once because I got it free, and I threw it out shortly thereafter.

Agree! Aluminum is what makes antiperspirants work. At least, here in Georgia (where we wore short-sleeved shirts on Christmas Day this year!)

Sandals today for me. On December 30. (Hoping no one notices I did a foot peel last week…)

Just heard back from Birchbox – all products are made in the US. 🙂

It doesn’t say on the site, but I just reached out to Birchbox to ask. I’ll follow up once I hear back!

Wonder when it’ll start appearing in boxes?

It seems like a good fit for the fitness/health/resolutions theme of January, so I wouldn’t be surprised if we see these in boxes soon!
