I used one of the discount codes that Liz posted above and my points, so I got it for $12, which is totally cool! Hooray! I had been saving up my points for something like this.

It looks like it will be $65.

Wonder when it’s going to be available, no word on Popsugars Holiday box either ! ?

I LOVED the Vanity Affair LE from last year. LOVED!! It had a little bit of everything, and loved the glass container and gold tray. I was really hoping birchbox would come up with something similar again…

Unfortunately this LE doesn’t excite me. I have so many makeup bags so I especially don’t want that!

Agreed with Jen below. I think the mystery purple item next to the Tata Harper is 111SKIN Space Defence Bright Eye Lift Gel NAC Y². The coloring and logo look correct, and it is the only 111SKIN item currently for sale on the BB site. If this is the correct item, the full size (0.5 oz / 15ml) retails for $190, making this sample $60+ if in the typical 5ml tube. Also wanted to note that the 111SKIN brand is featured in the Net-A-Porter Holiday box, too!

(Apologies if this posts twice – computer issues!)

Also in the minority, but this looks like a box I’ll actually get! I’ve used a number of these products already, but I always like getting the minis. Super happy that Birchbox is branching into more luxury, true high-end brands!

It seems I’m in the minority here, but LOVING this box! I’ve been eyeing the Ilia tint, been in the market for a ring holder, and while I don’t need any nail polish, the Smith & Cult color looks gorgeous. Then again, I tend to go for the less popular boxes. I wasn’t wowed by last year’s Vanity Fair or whatever box.

The gold lippie looks like Ilia, not Jouer. Is the purple thing one of those ReVive products? Can’t zoom:)

Lauradiniwilk

Oops I see my mistake!

Rena

I swear I saw that on the website yesterday. When I went back to look at it the picture was gone and i thought I was having a senior moment. It’s not really anything I want. Hopefully there will be another smaller holiday LE box.

Reply ButtonReply

Emily

Birchbox put up an unboxing video for this LE box and they mentioned there would be two other LE holiday boxes: a home-themed and a men’s box!

Reply ButtonReply

Chelsea

Nope. You are young and healthy. I saw it too.

Reply ButtonReply

Tamara

This looks neither great nor awful. Like others have said, no wow factor.

There are some exciting products (Oribe, Laura Mercier Caviar stick) and some disappointing products (R+Co dry shampoo is useless.)

I’m really unhappy about the makeup bag. I have a MILLION makeup bags – and I’m not even counting the Ipsy bags. I particularly look forward to the non-beauty items in their LE boxes, so that’s a bummer for me.

HOWEVER. We haven’t seen the full presentation yet. And historically there has been more than one LE holiday box. So I’m still hopeful. 🙂

Ana

I think the Tata Harper product is the Repairative Moisturizer. I am guess the box will be between $65-$85 since the retail value looks to be around $250.

maria

This is such a let down. It looks like a round up of products that aren’t selling well.

Reply ButtonReply

Jen

The sneak peeks are up for birchbox and Ipsy 🙂

Liz Cadman

Thanks! Posting about it now! 🙂

Joy

Thanks Jen. The samples are awesome this month! I’m excited for everything in my boxes except another Harvey Prince fragrance.

Reply ButtonReply

Elise

Well can’t say that I’m extremely excited about this box. There is nothing in it I have to have.

Reply ButtonReply

Molly

I love the packaging on that dry shampoo (and have it already) but am sad to say it does nothing to soak up any oil in your hair- I love dry shampoos but that one is the worst I have tried. Amika is my fave!

Reply ButtonReply

Saima

I don’t think it is even comparable to last year Vanity Affair box. It has no wow factor for me. I hope there are more boxes.

Reply ButtonReply

Ragan

Agreed. But if it costs less, it might still be a good deal.

Reply ButtonReply

Emily

Looks great to me, but if it costs as much as last year’s holiday LE box I’m sure I’ll be passing.

Reply ButtonReply

Janelle

I like most of this depending on price, but I would prefer a mask to the dry shampoo which seems a more summer item. The ring holder is cute.

Reply ButtonReply

Janelle

I also would like to have something else from Cynthia Rowley, but that is probably because I have so many Ipsy bags.

Reply ButtonReply

Rain

I really like it but I need to know how much it will cost first…I just used up all my points too!

Reply ButtonReply

Greta

I think that is the Laura Mercier shadow stick, not the Joier. Depending on the price, this looks like a decent box. But I think this community has enough dry shampoo to subsidize the entire country’s needs! Enough already.

Reply ButtonReply

L

Haha, I can’t get enough dry shampoo! I use it every day, and love trying new ones! #greaseprobz

Reply ButtonReply

JoyW

I couldn’t agree more about the dry shampoo burn out! My eyes noticed the dry shampoo right away but luckily there’s plenty of other good products to make up for it and not turn me off from the box. Depends upon the price of this box.

Reply ButtonReply

Jen

The purple item is 111SKIN Space Defence Bright Eye Lift Gel NAC Y²

Reply ButtonReply

Jen

Looks like Laura Mercier shadow stick to me?

Reply ButtonReply

Victoria

I am sold! Glossybox, Birchbox, Jouer are my presents every so often. I will need a little lace box replacement if December is another miss for me. Any suggestions for a replacement? I am looking into POP Sugar.

Reply ButtonReply

Carol

PopSugar’s Must Have box is AWESOME. I didn’t think I’d like it as much as I have. I’ve only received one box thus far but from one box alone, I’m already sold! I seriously think I have a subscription box addiction (I think I currently subscribe to 7 or 8 of them a month lol) but Popsugar’s MHB is easily among my top 2 fave’s. Get it, you won’t be disappointed!! ?

Nichelle

Not too excited for this box, I was hoping for a variety of items for home, bath, skin and beauty as well as holiday entertaining or more holiday theme. Enough dry shampoo!

Reply ButtonReply

Liz Cadman

I’m not sure but I’m guessing they will have more than one limited edition box for holiday – probably one that is more about entertaining/home given their history over the years! 🙂

Nichelle

I hope so!?
