I’m happy to report that Birchbox says LOC is made in the US or Germany!

I hope Birchbox is telling the truth. Chinese made cosmetics worry me. They just don’t seem to have the same safety standards compared to the U.S. Thank you! 🙂

Hello. How do I get a second subscription box? Would I create a second account with a separate email address and payment method? Thank you.

Cara
Yes, you would create a second account with a separate email address. If you log into your first account and refer yourself (with the separate email address), then sign up using the link that gets emailed to you, at least you’ll get the points for the referral. Did any of that make sense? ☺

Yes, that makes sense. Thank you.

Hmmm.. how can I get this box??. I subscribed for the first time to Birchbox using the coupon code BCABOX few days before this post came out …….. but I want this one too! 😀

I just reopened my second account in hopes that I’ll be able to select two different shadow sticks. Very excited about these!

When does the email go out for me to pick which box?
Thanks, I’m a newbie

I usually get an email with the sample choice reveal on the 18th of the month. Then I get an email asking me to choose my sample choice or the curated box on the 27th of the month. I believe everyone gets the sample choice email on the 28th. If you log into your account before then and refer at least one friend you’ll get you sample choice email a day early, on the 27th. I make sure I do that every month because some of the sample choices do sell out. I hope that helped. It really is exciting. You get to look forward to you box and then you get to look forward to the sample choice reveal!

Thank you for the quick reply, so just so I’m getting what your saying, I get to choose one of the samples in the box? Either the lipstick or shadow, but all the rest are the same? Thank you 🙂

Does everyone get to select an item? or just the new subscribers? How do i chose the curated box? Sorry for all the questions. I am excited to Try LOC.

Everyone gets to select an item or the curated box. You’ll get an email from Birchbox asking you to choose one. Of you log into your account and refer a friend you’ll get your sample choice email one day earlier. I always try to remember to do that because sometimes some of the more popular choices do sell out. And don’t be sorry, it’s all very exciting!

Everyone gets to select! You just have to already be a subscriber by the 24th to be able to select your sample or curated box for November. If you are a subscriber, you’ll get an email later this month with a link to select if you want the curated box, or the sample of your choice. Hope that makes sense!

Going for the curated box this time. Looks good to me!

I almost always go for the surprise box just because, well, surprise! But last month’s sucked (it was 3 out of 5 repeat items for me) so if it’s still left when/if I get the email, I’m gonna pick the Tati box.

I might go with the curated box again. Only problem I have is that I’d rather have the lip color than the shadow stick. I have rotten luck with shadow sticks working for me, but matte lipsticks… I’m in!
Aaaaaahhh… Decisions, decisions….
Birchbox has definitely be a hit with me the past couple of months. Ipsy was a little fail for me this month.

This morning I came across the November Birchbox sample choice video and if my memory serves me right not only are we going to have 1 sample choice but 2 for the new LOC line that They just launched One for the lip stick and one for the eyeshadow

Ooppsss Im so sorry I missed one silly little word “or”. We only get to choose one I hope I didn’t cause too much confusion.

Definitely going with the surprise box. Now just need to decide between the red and the berry lip color. Will probably buy whichever I don’t choose.

I can’t believe I sat through that entire drippy presentation and didn’t even get to see everything swatched!
Oh well, I’ll find out later when the boxes arrive.

Tati Westfield, who curated this box, discussed and showed swatches of the products on her YouTube channel last week. If you watch the video, you will see swatches of the eyeshadow and discussions of all of the other products that she selected for this box, and why. Looks like a winner to me!
I looove the Glam Guru, and if they have the option to get both like last month, it would be perfect from now on 🙂

so now that birch box makes it own line, i feel like we won’t be able to get away from their products in their boxes ! but the curated box looks nice

Hmm, am not feeling the “NEEEEEEED” for any of these items, so I’ll probably go for the surprise box next month! Which is fun because I’ve done curated the past 3 months in a row, so it will be nice to be surprised in November!

A whole line of paraben free products?? I was just about to cancel my mother’s account, even spent all the points, but now I have to wait at least one more month because I know she would LOVE that berry lipstick! And I want to try the shadow sticks!

Love the choices, I will be picking up the curated guest box. Still waiting for my October box and Birchbox plus item.

For the first time ever I’m beyond stoked to try the curated box! I hope the sample choice box isn’t too cute or it may sway me a little. I know that’s silly but what can I say? Haha.

Isn’t there a video to watch and don’t I have to send an email to a friend? Does anybody have a link to the video and where is the link to send an email to a friend – or wait, will Birchbox send me this stuff? I bet they send me this stuff.
Reply
Cara
Yes, they’ll send you all that stuff ☺ Although, you’ll probably see it on here first! If you log into your acct there should be a points section. If you go there you can invite friends. I believe as long as you invite one person a month you’ll get the sample choice email a day early. Once the video comes out it’ll explain all of that and more!

I have two accounts with Birchbox and will probably pick the lipstick on one and the curated box on the other. I’m excited to try these LOC products!

That’s my plan too! I like that the LOC line is paraben and cruelty free – I’m excited to try both of the products! 🙂
