Each box includes an info card detailing the items featured that quarter.
Choice Organic Beauty Detox Tea – 3 tea bags, value: $1
This jasmine green tea blend is made to encourage your body’s natural detoxification process. From their website: “Burdock root is a detoxification dynamo that aids liver function to promote clear skin from the inside out, and chamomile calms sensitive skin.”
Raven + Lily Chai Spice Soap – 4 oz, value: $7
This soap smells amazing! Cinnamon and Nutmeg are the main part of the fragrance but it also has some essential oils mixed in too (their website doesn’t specify which). I wish I had a candle that smells like this too.
Bright Endeavors Spa Tin Candle in Vanilla Honey – 2 oz, value: $7
I love both soy candles and tin candles, so I was happy to see this in the box! Also, the fragrance is wonderful. This whole box smelled like Fall when I opened it thanks to this candle and the soap.
Purpose Jewelry Gold Kana Necklace – value: $24
I love the style of this necklace. I also love the symbolism behind the design. Here’s the blurb from their website:
“Kana is short for Muskāna, the Hindi word for smile. This delicate, handcrafted necklace features a narrow tube that gently curves upward. It represents the new found joy of our artisans, and the transformation that occurs as they heal and look towards the future.”
Elegantees Braided Infinity Scarf in Grape – value: $24
This scarf was handmade by women in Nepal who have been victims of sex trafficking. It’s a really comfortable fabric (feels like a t-shirt) and is a nice weight. I don’t own a purple scarf, so this works well to add to my collection!
bonJOY also includes an envelope full of promotions, business cards, and coupon codes for the brands and artists they feature that quarter.
The Verdict: I think bonJOY has a wonderful mission and purpose! I love that they work with and feature companies that directly support women who need it. I also really enjoyed this quarter’s box – it felt like a nice curation for Fall. As far as value goes, everything adds up to $63, which is a value I’m happy with.
What do you think about bonJOY? Do you like this Fall box?
