Birchbox Sneak Peek for October Boxes!

Mine’s changed since yesterday (or the day before) when I checked it. I’m still getting Stila mascara, Klorane dry shampoo, an aloe mask, and Dr Jart Ceremidin Cream, but now instead of a Rusk hair shine spray I’m getting a Number 4 Hair Oil. Which is good, because I use hair oil. I like this box – I like Dr. Jart and I’ve wanted to try the Ceremidin Cream, and I like the hair oil and aloe mask, and am happy to use the other two items as well. Hope it doesn’t change (unless it changes for the better again, of course).

Yay! Favorite time of every month. I’m getting two boxes on two separate accounts. The first one is the Game Face box (I’m excited about the Smashbox primer, I’ve never used it, and the Clinique moisturizer, I’m currently hoarding moisturizers for winter). The second one I chose a mascara:

– Benefit Roller Lash Super-Curling & Lifting Mascara (eeek! I stalked my email and it payed off. Thanks to MSA for posting what day to check our emails)

Not excited at all Birchbox keeps sending me products that won’t work for my hair. I just don’t get it, if I have thick/curly hair I don’t need products for fine/thin hair. Also getting hand lotion, a facial mask, eyeko mascara and another perfume sample. I have mine set to not get more than 6 perfume samples a year and I just got one last month and now this month. Frustrating, but I’m sure Ipsy is going to be awful too.

I’m excited for the Stila mascara I picked, and also for the dry shampoo I’m getting. I already have a ton of dry shampoos, but I always love getting new ones.

The other items I’m receiving are kind of meh to me. I’m getting a face mask that contains oils, and oils always break me out. I’m getting a Jouer moisturizer, but I’m so sick of receiving moisturizers. I’m getting a Dr. Jart Cream too, which I could have sworn I already received awhile back.

Everything was sold out by the time I got around to picking, which is fine… I generally like the surprises. I’m fairly happy with this month’s box as these are all new products for me.

I’m mostly excited about my box.
I’m getting:
English Laundry Eau de Parfum No. 7. Perfume isn’t the most exciting thing to receive. However, I’ve been wanting to try Harvey Prince Hello or Harvey Prince Ageless – Pink Grapefruit.
Stila Huge Extreme Lash mascara. I’m very happy I didn’t pick my sample, because the only choice left for me was Eyeko. I love mascara but I didn’t want Eyeko.
Davines LOVE Hair Smoothing Shampoo and Conditioner. I’m kind of excited for the shampoo and conditioner.
Pearl Bay Invasion. I think it’s a highlighter.
And I think Shiseido Ultimune Power Infusing Concentrate

Mine still won’t work with the workaround. Oh, well. I’ve been pretty disappointed with my boxes lately. I did the upgraded box and I haven’t seen the value there. Not to mention that I still never get the option to choose the curated box with the $30 option.

Any ideas? I can get to that page, but it won’t let me click on any of the samples, to see what they are. Only the first sample is clicked (Avene moisture mask), and I can’t click on the others to see what they are. 🙁

I’m getting EXO nail polish remover wipes, Dr. Jart+ Ceramidin Cream, Amika dry shampoo, W3LL People mascara (my choice), and Acura Organics mask. I’m really looking forward to the cream, the mask and the mascara. Nail polish remover is always a plus. I have a lot of dry shampoos, and never really use them — but hey, I might someday. So all in all, it’s 3+s, one neutral and one semi-negative. Pretty great!

im getting another Rusk product!! Ugh! Those don’t work on my hair! This is the 4th one I’ve gotten either in my box or in the bonus sample pack ????

I’m getting Roller Lash, the Bio face mask, Dinoplatz highlighter, another dry shampoo, and another random hair product. I’m actually pretty excited about this month.

I am so excited for this month! Normally, if there is one or two samples that I like/am excited for, I consider it a win. But this month there are 4 that I’m pumped about. I’m getting:

Avene moisture mask
Klorane dry shampoo
Dr. Jart ceramidin cream
Manna Kadar lip locked gloss (can’t win them all…)

My box is pretty good!

For my sample choice I picked the Stila mascara. I’m also getting the Avène thermal spring water, the BioRepublic cucumber fiber mask set, the Manna Kadar lip gloss, and the Oribe texturizing spray. I’m excited to try them all! 🙂

Mine kept saying September but I finally got it to change and peeked. I’m getting Embryolisse Lait-creme concentrate, Skyn Iceland Hydro Cool Firming eye Gels, ModelCo Ultra long-lasting lipstick, amika perk up dry shampoo and eyeko black magic mascara. So happy I went with the surprise box over the others.

Mine wasnt listed so i did the trick mentioned in the comments ( thank you !!) im wishing i went with a curated box. mine sucks !!! Harvey prince hello body cream …. i cant tell them enough how much i hate this scent !! If i didnt love their point system and store this box would be my cancel point

I am somewhat disappointed this month. I am getting two hair products (dry shampoo and something that is for getting rid of frizz). I continue to rate these products poorly since I have very thin, fine hair and have no need for these items. I would have LOVED to have received the Dear Clark Thickening Balm and it would have been perfect for me. This is my 11th box and they still don’t have it right 🙁 I am also receiving the Dinoplatz highlighter, BioRepublic soothing mask, and Benfit Roller Lash.

I wanted to try all the mascaras except the well people and of course my non-ace account has the well mascara. The rest of the samples don’t seem bad but nothing too exciting. At least I got the stila on my ace account

I am getting shampoo and conditioner again! I am so tired of shampoo and conditioner in my BirchBoxes. :/
