I just got my citrus lane box and am totally upset with the curation. While I completely adore getting board books in subs, the one I got in citrus lane is a total Nay for me. I can’t believe why someone would even consider putting a circus based ABC board book in my child’s box. The book is full of illustrations of poor animals doing circus and juggling. I don’t want my child to think that this is a laughing matter or is okay. I am going to chuck it in garbage with all due respect since I don’t think that tigers should be made to sit on drums and do tricks or bear be made to ride a unicycle. This is totally inappropriate, barbaric and cruel. I can’t imagine who in Citrus Lane’s curators crew found this funny and even thought of sending it in a toddler’s box.
