Ipsy October 2015 Spoilers

Do you guys who are unhappy ever re-take the quiz and review the products? I have only been getting boxes since this summer, but I have already re-taken the quiz once and I review everything. Sept and Oct have been really good for me and I do believe the products I get are being tailored to me more so now than when I started. Or maybe it’s luck, but either way, I’ve been happy the last 2 months.

I’m excited about my October bag!
It will have theBalm lipstick, Skone eyeliner, BWC hand n body lotion, Nourish organic argan face serum, and IT Cosmetics mascara.

Sneak peeks are up. I am getting the lipstick, eyeliner pencil, Ayres hand cream, LeeAnni Eco go away gloomy day serum, and Aurora gel effect nail polish you in inky dinky (purple). Kind of meh about it so hopefully I like the products when I get them.

The ipsy bag reveals are up so everyone can see what they’re getting.

I have 2 full compacts of Mary-Lou-Manizer (it’s my colour, I’m super-crazy fair but green-veined=warm). I sort of wallow in it. I will not cry if they send it to me (could keep in my handbag? But I’d prefer the colour lip gloss shown, as I’ve never tried their lipsticks. I have a lot of their palettes (4 or 5?) and skin care (all of which I recommend). As with every brand, not everything in a line works for us. Apart from curiosity, I’ll be happy with either. TheBalm is a fantastic product, even if they’re mostly known for the design (which is also great).

The only makeup product by them I hated was the ‘colourless’ blotting powder which looked like BRONZER on me AND broke me out. I don’t break out. I tried it across 2 months on 3 separate occasions (even with colour wrong as powder, if it didn’t break me out, I was going to USE it as bronzer). Had to gift-away.

If this month’s bag is no better then last month I too will cancel. Everyone I know is ready to cancel over lasts months bag. I was so disappointed when I opened it.

I think this month will be my last bag. Last month was nothing but leftovers. I was so disappointed. Customer service treated me like I was beneath them. I got real items in the Walmart box for 10.00.

I use this highlighter daily so I’d be fine getting some more of it. Although, I’d really, really like to get the liquid lipstick because it’s something different. Thanks for the spoilers!

excited for these! I already have Mary Lou, so I’m hoping for the lippie, but if I get the highlighter I’ll give it to my daughter, no big deal.

I just cancelled. I had it for 3 months, and was going to try to make it to 6, but I just didn’t care for all the cheap products made in China. I did get a few nice things, and I did like the bags, but it’s just not worth it. I’ve subscribed to Birchbox, so I’m hoping for better luck there.

Last month will be my last month with Ipsy because I’m one of the lucky ones to already be receiving Sephora Play.

Glad to know I’ll be going out with a bang! Guaranteed theBalm item plus I’ve redeemed points for 3 extra items.

I love Ipsy. Love everything about Ipsy, The products, the bag all for 10.00. And I have to say their customer service is excellent. I was on a wait list for only a Week. I e-mailed customer service and was able to get the bag shipped the next day. Now that’s excellent service. Now my friends want to join. We are having a Beauty Box Party tonight, so I can show them all my Subscription boxes. We will have a beauty box party once a month and exchange items we are interested in. This is going to be fun.

i hope the lip product varies because that color doesn’t look like it’ll fit my dark skin tone…the highlighter i would like but i got an Ofra highlighter last time and it was huge.

I love Ipsy! Love getting it every month & trying small samples – for $10 it’s a total treat each month! Plus, if I can’t use something, my sis-in-law is happy to get it! It’s a win-win!!

Last month’s junky samples and this month’s spoilers sealed the deal. Finally cancelled. Feeling kind of naive for sticking around this long hoping quality and customization would improve or that for once I would get the prized item, but we all know that 95% of the bags will have the tiny highlighter and a few bags will get the lip stain, and with these spoilers I’m not excited about either. Glad to be done with Ipsy.

Don’t know how much longer I’ll stay around. I signed up again when they had the “no waitlist” promotion and my first month was OK but I could take it or leave it with Ipsy. That means they will probably be first on the chopping block if I am looking to cut back.

Hope to get the lip product because most highlighters are too dark for me (as in, they don’t even show up when I put them on).

Canceling Ipsy was the best decision I ever made.

I’ve sampled the Mary-Lou Manizer before. It looks like gold eye shadow. Meh. I’d rather try the lip product since it is new to me.

I’m excited for either one! I’ve heard great things about that highlighter, and I always love new lipsticks.

Seriously considering cancelling this sub… I dislike most of my ipsy items

I’m praying for the liquid lipstick, only because I never get lip products in my Ipsy bag. I’ve gotten the highlighter a few times and in my BB.

I’m going to cry if I get a liquid lipstick that looks mad pasty on me. Based on the picture it looks like it might be. Hopefully I’ll get the Mary-lou manizer, at least I can work with that
