I just received this in the mail. It arrived in a sturdy and heavy box and quick ship. The listing says “If an item becomes unavailable, TG reserves the right to substitute a product for one of equal or greater value.” When I evaluated whether to buy it, there were a few key items that made it a good deal for me, they were worth more than the $95. However, in my box, most of those were missing, so that is a bit of a bummer. Only 2 of the items were the same as was originally listed, all the rest were substitutes. It’s still worth what I paid for it, and it’s for a good cause, but to me the value is less than the $225 posted. Here’s what was included or missing:

Included:
Lotus Moon Blemish Control Solution; Included
Numi Organic Tea Numi Collection Tea; Included (gunpowder green)

Substituted:
Acure Moroccan Argan Oil Shampoo & Acure Moroccan Argan Oil Conditioner,
Substitution: 8 oz Desert Essence Italian Leather shampoo and conditioner.

Acure Ultra Hydrating Body Wash,
Substitution: 8 oz dr bronner peppermint soap

Acure Organic Moroccan Citrus Ginger Argan Oil
Substitution: Morcoccan Argan Oil (not citrus ginger)

Amy’s Kitchen Organic Hearty Lentil Soup,
Substitution: Amy’s minestrone

Aubrey Organics Creme de la Shave Pomegrante: Substitute: Acure foaming shave gel

Aubrey Organics Sheer Lip Tint; Substitution: Juice Beauty organic lip moisturizer

EO Products Everyone Spearmint and Lemongrass Hand Soap, Substitute: EO body oil 8 oz

Nutiva O’Coconut Treat; substitute: small 1.5 oz mixtbag chips

RW Garcia Blue Dipper Chips;Substitution: Annie’s cheddar squares

Missing:
Acure SPF 30 Sunscreen Spray;
Amy’s Kitchen Andy’s Dandy Candy Bar;
Aubrey Organics E Plus High C Deodorant,
Chipotle Buy One Get One Free Burrito Card and Free Chips and Guacamole Card;
Desert Essence Tea Tree Oil Facial Cleansing Pads;
EO Products Everyone Peppermint and Citrus Hand Sanitizing Spray;
Gaia Herbs Stress Response,
Gaia Herbs Fresh Breath Spray;
LunchSkins Reusable Sandwich Bag;
Natracare Organic Makeup Removal Wipes;
Nutiva Organic Coconut Oil,
Radius Source Toothbrush,
Radius Vegan Floss;
Skoy Scrub;
U Konserve Bamboo Utensil.

Instead, I received the following:
Acure energizing body lotion 8 oz
Aubrey hand and body lotion 3oz
Relax aromatherapy blend 0.45 oz
Aubrey everyday basics cleansing gel 3.4 oz
Aubrey everyday basics moisturizer 1.7 oz
Gaia Chia Fresh daily fiber powder 7.5 oz
Nutiva hemp protein powder 16 oz
Amy’s brand small thermos (for soup?)
2 packs of ten (ob sized) nafracare tampons

The coconut oil, toothbrush, stress tablets, chipotle coupon, sunscreen, scrub and deodorant (etc) were the reasons I bought this so it’s not a great deal for me but still worth what I paid for it.. I’m just disappointed that all but 2 items were substitutions.

Wow…that’s really pushing the “we may substitute” thing. I know it’s for a good cause and it’s still worth more than what you paid, but I’d be a tad annoyed, esp since you bought it for specific items.

I agree. I don’t mind a few substitutions, but many of these were not even in the same category.

PA Anna

I agree. I was thinking about purchasing this box today and saw there was a new comment. I would have been disappointed. Too many substitutions on items that I like.

Emily

Really wish I could swing the cost for this! Looks amazing.

I am thinking about this one. I have ordered these before and really liked them. The last few did not have enough products I would use, but this one looks good. If I do, I will give you my Chipotle coupons if you want them. The nearest one to me is 135 miles!!

Thanks so much for sharing this, I picked one up! Almost everything in here is new to me and I can’t wait to try them all!

Of course the one time I would have $75 around, it’s a bunch of products I have or have already tried before…
