Check out the theme for the upcoming GlobeIn August 2015 Box

The theme for the upcoming GlobeIn August 2015 Box is Laundry. More from GlobeIn:

Typically, most of us consider the laundry to be a drag. But what if it were an indulgence? The products in this month’s kit invite you to reconnect with a sense of gratitude at the joy of washing, to think of the laundry as a small, daily ceremony of renewal in harmony with the environment and echoing with the traditions of earth-centered livelihoods around the world.

Each Laundry Artisan Box will come with:

GlobeIn August 2015

1) Wool Dryer Balls (Set of 3) - Kyrgyzstan (GlobeIn)
Price: $15

2) FairTrade Cotton Bag (packaging for wool balls) - India (HAE Now)
Price: $2.5

3) Upcycled Laundry Bag - Cambodia (Peace Handicrafts)
Price: $25
The bag is 22.5 inches wide x 21.5 inches tall. Colors will vary.

3) Soap Nuts Sampler - Nepal (Green Virgin Products)
Price: $2

"Soap nuts are a natural, eco-friendly, chemical-free way to clean your clothes. They releases a natural sudsing detergent which behaves the same way as commercial laundry detergent, but without the chemicals. This soap nuts sample contains enough USDA Certified Organic deseeded soap nuts to do 4 to 7 wash loads and includes one drawstring wash bag and detailed instruction sheet."

4) Pal Leaf Basket - Mexico (GlobeIn)
Price: $12

Also, here are the spoilers for the August Benefit Basket: wools balls and an organic cotton bag inside the palm leaf basket

I wish there had been a warning about the Benefit Basket spoiler that was thrown in there :-(((((

I totally caved. Previous month’s boxes seemed nice but I but never felt the urge to sign up until this one. I love everything about this theme. I was going to just get this 1 month but the free month on the 3-month subscription convinced me to give it a longer try. Hopefully the next boxes will continue to be this amazing combination of unique, useful, and lovely.

Typing that made me realize what a hard thing it must be to try to make a stellar box month after month! Full credit to the creative minds behind all these boxes 🙂

Is there a coupon to get a free month?

I found a code for one free month with the purchase of 3 but it said it expired. I really want this so ended up using the Welcome code for $8.75 off. Still a great deal for such a unique subscription. Can’t wait to receive my first one!

I can’t wait to get this box and use everything. This hits the sub box sweet spot for me: unique + useful. This might be my new favorite sub.

Just so you know, you can find the soap nuts at T.J. Maxx/Marshalls sometimes if you have one close by. Also, I got some for cheap at Abe’s Market (it’s an online natural store).

They did a fantastic curation of this theme – and I appreciate that they do not inflate their prices.

Symi

oh they mentioned on a Instegram post that there’re 4 items including the basket. I guess it’s 5.

Does anyone know if I sign up today would I receive this month or have to wait until September? Thanks in advance!

Olivia

As long as you sign up before the 15th, you’ll get this month’s box.

I think you’ll still get this month’s basket. I signed up on the 13th last month and got last month’s basket in two days. I don’t know if it depends on where you are though. I’m living pretty close to the bay area (to them).

AnnaD

Thank you. I’m only a couple hours out of the Bay Area so fingers crossed.

I just love this basket and I cannot wait to get my hands on that bag! I was just shopping on their online store and who had to buy all of their elephant wine stoppers?!!

I finally gave in to the awesomeness of GlobeIn. This month’s products are all ones I’ve been wanting to try for awhile and last month’s Elephant poo journal was just too interesting to ignore. I’m hoping the next 6 months will be just as awesome!

I love this month!

I am hoping that since we got a bag in the last Benefit basket that we get the wool balls this month. If the Benefit basket doesn’t have the wool balls, I am going to have to swap for them! I need to try soap nuts, too. The concept sounds really cool.

Oh, yay! Liz posted above that it’s the wool balls. Hooray! 🙂

Randi

I was hoping for the wool balls in the Benefit Basket too! Especially since we did get a bag last month.

Wool dryer balls are pretty cheap on Amazon. I use them because I am allergic to pretty much all fabric softener sheets (even the unscented ones).

heyhey

the spoilers for the benefits basket were up on ramblings of a suburban moms blog a day or two ago.

Love!!! I actually dropped Popsugar to pick this one up! I love the uniqueness of it all!! Plus the concept behind it is an added bonus! Way better than yet another beauty box.

Michelle

I’m so tired of beauty and skin care products. I forced myself to cancel the ones I had realizing they are just piling up and don’t know if I will ever get to use them. And it’s pretty rare if you can get someone to swap because I think every one is in the same boat!

Sondra

Good choice! I think this is so much better than pop sugar 🙂

Thanks! Think my subscription mind frame has changed lol ?

I adore this. I just swapped for some soap nuts and am excited to try them! This makes me wish I would’ve purchased the Artisan Basket instead of the Benefit Basket. I just love the items GlobeIn comes up with. Keep up the good work.
