I wonder if this offer would allow you to get cash back in lieu of the actual subscription, making the box free or even better. I did that with a previous BB offer – I opted out of the magazine and I believe I got a $9.99 or $19.99 refund check.

You can opt out of getting a magazine subscription & instead get a refund check for $5.00. The magazine subscription is worth way more then the $5.00 though. Hope that answers your question.
