Check out the theme for the upcoming GlobeIn August 2015 Box

The theme for the upcoming GlobeIn August 2015 Box is… Laundry! More from GlobeIn:

Typically, most of us consider the laundry to be a drag. But what if it were an indulgence? The products in this month’s kit invite you to reconnect with a sense of gratitude at the joy of washing, to think of the laundry as a small, daily ceremony of renewal in harmony with the environment and echoing with the traditions of earth-centered livelihoods around the world.

What do you think of the spoiler theme? Any guesses on items? Also if you’re thinking of signing up, use coupon code WELCOME to save 25% off the first month of a 3-month subscription.

I signed up for the 3 month Benefit Basket! Love the backpack and the basket!!! I’m actually going to cancel Popsugar and order the regular Artisian basket instead.

I have subbed to Globen for the past three months and honestly this is one of the best boxes I have received over a period of time. Every sub box I have I have been disappointed with something overtime. Their customer service and package delivers for me. Thank you GlobeIn

I was surprised to receive only one item inside the great hand-made basket…the backpack, which was wonderful, but I thought I had read somewhere there was another little goodie. I am disappointed though that there seems to be no way to contact GlobeIn…their customer service is worked on???

Janet, it sounds like you signed up for the Benefit Basket. You only get the basket and one item with that. If you sign up for their Artisan box (I think that’s what it’s called), you get multiple items in your basket.

Wasn’t there an introductory offer recently that started with a smaller version of the July box? I think I remember reading speculation in the comments about which 1 item would be included. Did you maybe get this deal? I was coming to this thread just to post a comment about the July box…..it is my 2nd GlobeIn box, and, I have to say, with the box I received today, this has quickly become my new favorite sub box! I felt connected to the artisans around the globe, I felt that my purchase was helping others, and I absolutely loved the variety in the July box! I was happy to see only 1 food item as edible items can be very hit or miss, but, I do like to try new snacks, and the snack bar fit very well with the Wander theme. I camp a lot in the summer and am in need of new insect repellent, this type is entirely new to me, so I am excited to try it! The journal is sooooo nice in my hands that I want to keep it, even though I know I will never journal. I am going to make myself gift it to my brother who loves to write and has a birthday coming up. The best….the backpack! When I saw the spoilers, I got online to check out the different colors/patterns for the backpack, picked out my favorite pattern, and emailed GlobeIn with the request that if there was any variety in the bags sent to please send the very colorful striped pattern. I never received a reply, however, chances are good that I missed the email. I believe I squealed a tiny bit when I opened my basket to find the pattern I requested! So, give their customer service a chance to make you happy, I bet that they will!

Janet, I thought I read that we get one item with the Benefit basket. I got mine on Monday, and love both the basket and bag! (I got a green one.)

I have been debating whether to sub to this box since I started reading MSA, and this might push me to do it! I agree that description is a masterwork! Sounds like the box will be very useful, and I could use a little zen in my laundry (with a preschooler it seems like that’s all I do outside of work!) … I would love a great stain remover!

Ok, I have to hand it to whoever wrote that description paragraph for GlobeIn. Impressed.

I just love GlobeIn. Who knew I could get excited about a box themed Laundry??? I’m subscribed to both the Artisan and Benefit boxes (baskets? haha) because I just can’t get enough. The curation is exceptional, the themes are so spot on and unique, and the feel-good factor is very real. Love love love!!

I’m pretty excited for this one. I like getting cute usable products from these type of subscriptions, more than stuff that just would sit and collect dust.

It’s so tempting to sub to this even though I’m in on the Benefit Basket already! I love trying new brands that use simple ingredients (like the Meloria K natural soap that we got in KloverBox – love that stuff!). It’s a new theme right up my alley, I hope it’s well received. Can’t wait.

Can’t wait to see what they send. Maybe some kind of sachet to keep your clothes smelling good?

Looking forward to this!

I’m guessing some special detergent, wool balls for the dryer, clothes pins, some fragrant something or other.

I may just have to resubscribe. I started hanging out the laundry after my drier broke and I very much enjoy it. It’s totally zen.

I keep losing the cloth pins, so I hope this box will include some cool ones. And how about laundry soap? I can’t imagine they’ll include a board, but I’d love to have one.

I had a good LOL at your comment, in the sweetest way possible mind you. I had hippie parents who bought 65 acres of beautiful wilderness in the 70s. As a young child I remember: outhouses and chamber pots, baths in the metal tub with water heated on a woodstove, and stiff blue jeans that were hung out to dry on a clothes line! I love my dryer so much….along with my indoor plumbing! It made me giggle that one of the things I remember really disliking (laundry hung out to dry) is something that so many others really appreciate! Of course, my mom made her own tofu, and I still remember the victorious day that I finally convinced her to buy my the Peter Pan peanut butter instead of that awful, rock hard natural stuff that has an inch of oil on the top that you need to be Iron Man to stir in 😉 LMAO Memory lane……

I agree that hanging up laundry is zen. I always get happy in the spring when it’s warm enough to do so and then sad in the fall when it gets too cold. 🙂

Very unique theme!

Soap nuts? Mesh laundry bag? Those are my guesses…

I’m curious about the contents. It’s easy to take modern conveniences for granted. I’m willing to have a sense of gratitude install in me. My older son is on a mission trip and it is eye-opening to him. I think he is going to come back with an appreciation for indoor showers.

Huh.

First thought: Well THAT’S weird.
Second thought: … But will probably be useful!

Can’t wait to reconnect with my laundry. 😉
