The knife looks really good quality, but I opted out. I don’t think the knife is a good idea when you are going to picnic with toddler in tow…

Well, I’m happy it wasn’t a cheap-o picnic basket. But I’m sort of a snob about my knives, and am not interested in any knife at this price point, so I’m out. Too much to spend on some wax paper and a jar of mustard.

I hope they offer that sheath as an add-on for a future box.

Caved and subscribed, that they’ve got a vegan veggie sandwich recipe coming was the straw that broke my credit card out of box-jail.

i agree! a lot of these boxes seem meat centric to me. Which is probably good, I would subscribe to more if that weren’t the case!!!

I like Hampton’s Lane and I LOVE that you get a full reveal before you commit, and also that you can opt out or switch to a different box. But what I don’t love is that there always seems to be one ‘big ticket’ item (eg the knife this month), and if you don’t need a knife the rest is really kind of crap you can pick up anywhere…. But, can’t complain given that I can and did opt out this month…
