I can’t wait for you guys to post about this. I will likely buy it, but, while I appreciate the surprise, I want to be sure that they’re not books I have already purchased. I follow Book Riot, as it’s my absolute favorite site, and when they speak really highly about something, I have often gone out and purchased it. There have been a few times when a book from one of their subscriptions or the Holiday box was something I already own.

Looking at my tracking info, I should get it either tomorrow or Thursday. I’ll make sure to post ASAP 🙂

I won’t be able to open my box until Friday. To peek or not to peek?

My tracking number says “Label Created”. I may not be able to post about the box right away, but I think Liz should receive hers the same day. This should help people decide whether to purchase since it is still available.

This is really tempting. I love book subs and get both the Book People subs and the Book Riot Quarterly. I’ve been trying like crazy to get the Powell’s sub but it opens up for subscriptions when I’m at work and can’t sign up (I can’t stop a lecture to buy something).

I’m not even thrown off by the cost because I think that the curation is what makes book boxes more valuable to me.

The only thing stopping me is not knowing the genre. If there was a hint/spoiler with that I would be in. I’m just afraid that the books will be romance for beach reading and while I’m willing to branch outside my preferred genres (mystery, scifi, and fantasy) I don’t care for romance at all.

I agree completely! I wish there was any indication of the types of books. Hopefully reviews start popping up before it’s sold out!

This is what I’m hoping, too. 🙂

I purchased one. That’s $200.00 in boxes (Deux Lux & BR) in one day. Best to quit now 🙂 I hope I like the books!

Liz – Do you know when it ships? I wasn’t able to find the shipping date.

I can’t find a shipping date, but when I bought their best of 2014 box it shipped within days, so I’m hoping that’s the same with this box!

That will be great especially if the MSA Kloverbox ships early. Hint, Hint 🙂 Or maybe a MSA Kloverbox spoiler to enjoy thinking about while waiting for the arrival of the BR sub box 🙂

This looks awesome! But $100 for 4 books is soo much! With $100 I could buy 8+ books I want on amazon. I just can’t justify it…

This is super tempting! I’m not sure, though. $100 is a lot. I love to read books, but my favorite part of Book Riot boxes are the special bookie extras. It looks like most of the items from their store are Book Riot tshirts, socks, mugs, and totes. I wish there was at least an idea of what genres the books might be!
