I’m giving it a try. I’m new to Birchbox. For $5, I wonder how it compares to a Walmart or Target box. If it’s above and beyond those, then I’ll keep it for the $10 a month.

Well, the Walmart and Target boxes have drugstore items in them that can often be full sized but are low value and can be found anywhere. Birchbox sends deluxe sized samples from higher-end brands and has a beyond awesome points system that you can redeem for full sized versions of the products you like. There may be more “stuff” in those $5 boxes, but I have never even felt tempted to buy those despite the price since they don’t introduce me to anything new and they’re a little boring. On the other hand, Birchbox has my heart and I’ve found so many great things through my subscription. This half off deal is a great way to get started!! I hope you end up loving Birchbox 🙂
