  1. Here’s what I received in May tube today.

Very small SAMPLE size .085 tube of DR. BRaNDT Needles no More
    It’s a 10 Silk Leave In
    Lids by Design SAMPLE pack
    1 SAMPLE Patchology facial sheet
1 SAMPLE box Tan Towels (4)
    Hana and Labo hydrator
1 SAMPLE size (2 oz) GoTherapetics Cleanser

  2. I unsubscribed today. This will be my third Testtube. Not that great. It is way too expensive of a subscription to holdout for an awesome item one month. The John Frieda last month killed it for me completely. I love the products, but when I want some I can get it in the sample aisle of Target. I’m loving Ipsy and my Revealed palette in this months Boxycharm.

  3. Those lid thingies are great temporary uses for monolids or hooded eyelids.

  4. Didn’t they just have the tan towels a couple of months ago?

  5. Any idea if we subscribe today if we are able to get this box or do we have to wait for the next one?

    • Yes, you can get the May box if you subscribe now.

  6. I’ve tried a sample of the “Needles No More” and was unimpressed. it did absolutely nothing. I wouldn’t order this box just to get this product.

  7. When will this tube ship?

    • Mine will be here tomorrow, 4/23, but I don’t know if they all ship @ same time.

  8. i think my fiance will take back my ring if i buy just one more subscription, but i got a foil packet of that hado plano in an ulta order a couple months back, loved it to bits, and forgotten what it was. i had given up googling, ‘that moisturizer with pink flowers on the label’! i think i better just go nab a bottle of that and skip the box.

    • They sell that Hada Labo at Walgreens.

I just tell my fiance they’re boxes for review on MSA. (I guess not everybody has that excuse, though…)

      • that’s…well. that’s a totally sweet gig.
i’m not too far off from hiding in my closet, ripping open boxes and surreptitiously trying on ALL the face paints and potions in the dark like a junkie.

        • I’m getting ready to move in with my fiance. I think he already has a sense of how many packages I get by the number of boxes we take to recycle every weekend. But he has pretty much already given the master bathroom and all its counter and wall space and drawers and huge linen closet over to me and we haven’t even closed on the house yet.

I doubt he will be able to tell the difference with one or two boxes. But just in case, I think I will be getting home from work sooner than he will (because I work a lot closer to the house than he does). So I can hide things if need be…

No, I don’t have a problem. Not at all!

        • I’ve had to take my big purse to the mail box at times.

Funny I just saw a commercial tonight for that hair 10 product and wondered if it was some kind of gimmick because it looked like an infomercial

          • I haven’t used this variety, but I love the regular It’s a 10 (got it from Birchbox and an Ulta GWP).

          • The It’s a 10 Products are amazing. Their leave-in conditioner spray has become a staple for me!

    • I am cracking up at these comments! Glad to know I’m not alone for getting the boxes out of sight before hubby gets home. lol

  9. Can you sign up for just one month? If not, is this an easy sub box to cancel {i.e., how’s the customer service?}

  10. When I was a kid my brother threw me off the top bunk bed and I hit my brow bone. That lid has always had a small droop ever since. Everyone tells me I’m the only one that notices it. But I matter. Then I have two friends that use the tan towels. One looks so real and gorgeous. The other looks like rust that needs a serious scrub down.

  11. I’m really tempted to get this just to try that Dr. Brandt Needles No More… (0.5 oz is $89!) – I wonder how big the sample would be?

I also would never complain about a travel size “It’s a 10” product. Not sure about the rest though and I hate that shipping is $9 – so the $10 off basically covers that and I’d still be paying almost $30 for this box.

I looked back at the March box reviews & comments and it seems many aren’t thrilled with this sub. I’ll think about it for this 1 box…

  12. People need eyelid correctors? What do un-corrected eyelids look like?

    • not everyone is blessed with even eyelids. some people have one eye that’s more hooded than the other or sometimes one lid just has more exposed surface area than the other.

      • I understand that, but wouldn’t that make this way too much of a niche product for a subscription box if that was its only intended correction? I just had no idea that I had to be self conscious about my eyelids now too.

    • Call me when you’re 50….

      • Looking at the before and after pictures on the brand’s website, i can’t tell which is which! I’m truly perplexed.

      • 🙂 Gravity Spoiler!

        • Sorry meant to reply to Brooke’s comment. So true Brooke!

  13. I bit b/c of the dr brandt and the eyelid thing, but it irritates me to pay $9 for shipping so I can’t see keeping this sub long…. Thanks for the $10 off.

    • I bit too because of most of these products. However, after I paid I saw THEIR video of the May spoilers. Except for the tan towels EVERYTHING is different! 🙁

      • Wait… WHAT? Do you have a link?

        • She’s probably talking about the May 2014 spoilers! They had tan towels in last year’s May box too.

          • Thank you! It just said May and it was the latest video posted!
