Denise, i agree with you. The wonderful owners of Golden tote have built a Company expecting to make a living, and for the Ladies ordering from the boutique and then expecting their items to be switched to a tote is an admin burden. It drives up costs, delays responses to emails and in return creates more emails. Ordering multiple totes with the intent to switch out items liked and shipping the rest back also drives up cost. Of late, I feel like there are some who lack respect of the Company. Yes, the owners love what they do, but they should be able to do what they love while earning a living, and have work life balance. I hope GT someday can achieve a portion of the success of Loft. They deserve it, and I’m in awe they went after their dream!

P.S. I’m guilty of Checking the status of my order everyday but long ago gave up sending emails so they can concentrate on the tote and not emails.

I love that shipping for the 149 tote is free. Most websites have free shipping for large orders. And the fact that people cant buy all the items from the boutique before tote day is perfect, since they advertise as a tote service they should let people who want totes pick first and then all the remaining stock would be in the boutique.

Just got my March tote yesterday {ordered on the 16th}, was so disappointed! I’m the one that’s made several comments about the last page of my style profile not saving & it really showed based on what they sent me!!!!

Regarding sizes: 3 of the 4 surprise items were loose fitting items & the 4th was a Potter’s Pot striped dress that wouldn’t go over my chest {holding it up, it looks like a size xs…I’m b/t a med & a large}. The invoice lists sizes as large on all surprise items…but they sent mediums {the medium sizes are too big as well}.

I’ve read on a few different blogs the return policy has changed & we can now keep our chosen items at the boutique price, sending back the rest…is that correct? I love GT, but this month was a complete bust!

I had the same problem with my profile using internet explorer 11 and Jen at Golden tote told me if I wanted they would fix it for me. Let them know if the last page of your profile didn’t save what type of browser you are using, and also they will help make your order right.

Double check sizes on your profile. For example, if you picked medium in tops, that’s what they’ll send regardless of your chosen item size choices. However, if it is completely the wrong size from what you have listed, then contact them. There were some goofs this month, and you aren’t the first with this issue. They should work with you if the fault is on their end.

I understand it is more expensive to ship to Canada – especially with the method they use, but it seems like based on the US shipping deals, the price should be $20 for $149 and over.

Shipping to Canada is crazy from them and there is no way that it should be $30.

I won’t be buying any totes at this time as the exchange and shipping has made it way too expensive.

I am happy about this actually with the exception of the small tote shipping being so high. (I live in LA, i wish i could just pick up from their office).

I am happy that tote items wont get sold out before the sale. And i do think that this will help on the long shipping delays.

I am always surprised by how people expect them to make all sorts of shipping exceptions, last minute changes, etc. We dont expect this of places like LOFT, why should we of them?
