Bramble Box Props Subscription Box Review – April 2015 Info

This month's theme is Veterinarian! My seven-year-old son LOVES animals, and he has already shown some interest in veterinary medicine as a career. He is having a blast with this box! The box lid has the theme card pasted inside, and it lets you know everything that should be in the box.

Bramble Box Props Subscription Box Review – April 2015 Papers

Bramble Box Props includes a pamphlet every month that gives fun facts and ideas on how to make the most of your play set that month (left). On the right are some patient record sheets, so my son can make notes about each of his stuffed animal patients! How cute!

Bramble Box Props Subscription Box Review – April 2015 Props

These are some of the props that Bramble Box sent this month for my son to play veterinarian. There is some blank black construction paper labeled "X Rays" and some chalk to draw them with, some pet food, and the dreaded e-collar. I hate when my pets actually need to wear an e-collar, but it's a necessary evil. I hope using this gets my little boy more used to using them then I am!

Bramble Box Props Subscription Box Review – April 2015 Medical Supplies

Lastly, Bramble Box included all these medical supplies for my son to play with: a gauze wrap / bandage, some masks, tongue depressors, a syringe, and some little velcro "fleas" that he can stick on and comb off. My kids both love this kind of stuff and always ask for them to play with when we go to the doctor or vet. This should satisfy them for a while!

Bramble Box Props Subscription Box Review – April 2015 Stethoscope

This is a little odd, but this month Bramble Box sent an additional package about a week later. It was a stethoscope! My kids loved it, so we certainly aren't complaining!

Verdict: So far Bramble Box has been a big hit with both my seven-year-old son and myself! He took his bug collecting very seriously last month (ew), and I'm sure this month he will have all the stuffed animals patched up and good as new! My only comment this month is that I wish they would send an awesome book every month like they did last month!

What do you think of Bramble Box?

Thanks Hawk21 and Jen K. Value is a tough call to make on some of these kids’ boxes. I try to keep an eye on retail value, but the most important factor, to me, is how much my kids like it. Bramble Box has been scoring high marks with my 7-y-o lately, so the value is there for us. At the same time, I wouldn’t keep subscribing to any box if I felt like we were truly getting ripped off, so I understand. That’s why it’s a tough call, I guess.

My boys love this box and use the items all the time! I did get my subscription with a discount so the value has totally been there for us, but even at regular price I’d be happy.

I really didn’t think Bramble Box was worth the price this month; what was sent in the first shipment wasn’t even $5 worth of materials. I appreciate that the creator recognized this and sent the stethoscope, but even that isn’t great quality. We will be canceling.
