Normally YES, as long as u haven’t used them before. Remember to add in your Mystery sample. You can also use any points u may have saved up.

Now that I’m reading feedback from those of you who have received your boxes, I think I’d like one. I only have $10 in points, but I’m guessing this box will still be around next month when I’ll have more points to put towards it.
Perhaps they didn’t call it a Mother’s Day box so it could be sold for longer than just this month? Most of the other LE boxes are available for ages.

I think you’re right, this box will still be around next month. Find a code and accumulate some more points — I think you have time.
Vanity Affair and Home Sweet Homespun are still around and those were released last year.

I got the lipstick in Lola, the blush in Cannes, and the Perfume in Coconut milk and Mango. The perfume smells heavenly. Not too strong and tropical delicious. I wish Birchbox would send perfume samples that smell like this, if they did, I’d stop complaining. I usually choose a pink-er blush, but the color is subtle and probably better suited to my skin tone. The lipstick did not go on as dark as it looked in the tube. I think it’s a good neutral. I’m really pleased with the whole box, especially considering I only paid $22 after a coupon code and points.

Just got mine, I received warm tones on the blush and lip but they are light and will work just fine. I like my box.

Got the Cargo blush in Amalfi (orange-y) and lipstick in Iola (brown-ish). I’m good with that. I didn’t really need another pink blush. That candle is pretty big.

Oops, I mean my blush was in “Cannes.” Shouldn’t post when I’m exhausted.

Not thrilled with mine– but can only blame myself as the contents were clearly listed.
I got the Cargo in Amalfi which is a nice pink. I got the jouer lipstick in a hideous mauve that’s WAY too old for me (& I am 53 years old!), gack!
I also hate the perfume: coconut milk and mango? wth? Those are things I put in my smoothies, not on my body. I put some on and smelled like I spilled my lunch on my neck. Yuck.
Love the caudalie (which I’ve bought before) but it’s pretty small. LOVE the Davines. Love Rituals shower gels… I use them as shaving gels. Happy to get another. Interested in the polishes, haven’t tried. And I don’t drink tea or use candles.

Got my box today in the mail. That was fast! The lip color I got was a light natural-looking pink color called meg. I haven’t tried it yet, but think I will like it. Very happy it wasn’t some crazy shade. The blush I got is an orangey-pink color called Cannes. Might be a bit bright for me, but hoping it will be a nice summer shade when I wear warmer colors. Unfortunately, I didn’t love the smell of the perfume. Just OK; I will probably swap it.

I got these same colors/scent too. The lipstick feels really nice on. It’s a smudge too light on me, but I may try it with lip liner tomorrow and see if that helps. The blush may be a little too orange, so I may need to put it up for swap. Too bad because it’s a huge size! I wanted to try it but I’m going to have to look at it in the daylight.

I just got my box today and got the same colors as you. I wish the lipstick were a shade darker or something. The Cargo blush is really nice, but not sure the shade will work for my skin tone. I LOVE the perfume, it smells amazing. I only paid $12 for this after coupon and points it was well worth it, the items I’m keeping valued over $124.

Oh, the perfume scent I got was Coconut Milk Mango. As I don’t care for coconut, no wonder I don’t love it 🙂

I wish they would offer one in “cool” and the other in “warm” shades. I am very pale with blue eyes and I seem to only get brown/orange lip shades in subscription boxes. I’d jump at this box if I could garuntee the colors would work for me.

I’m also pale with blue eyes. But I can get away with wearing pretty much any color. I think I have the elusive “neutral” undertones. Or perhaps warm colors work for me because I have dyed my hair black.

That’s a wonderful idea! I’d be all over a box geared to cool skin tones.
It seems that us rosy skinned women are underserved in the beauty department generally. I’d guess that 90% of the products I’m sent in beauty boxes are more suited to those with warm toned skin.

I would buy this but I am so tired of getting products that I really like in colors that don’t work for me. I don’t need another pale pink nail polish that I will end up giving away, but I really like the other nail color. I wish they would let us pick our own the colors that went into these limited edition boxes. The value for me would be so much higher if I could get the colors I wanted.

Eliza that would be so great to pick our own colors. Love that idea!

Definitely ordered one! I will keep some products and gift others in the beautiful box.

Even though I have points to spend, I’m going to pass. I love Harney tea but can only drink decaf. Just got the tangerine colored Cargo blush in my box this month (prefer pink/mauve tones) but no guarantee of the color so I’m guessing they’ll be sending out the same color they have stocked. I joined the Joeur Matchbox so I assume I’ll get enough of their lipstick not to need this one.
Good for my wallet! Hope everyone enjoys their box, though!

On the fence. Except for that home sweet home clothespin thing, I typically LOVE BB LE boxes and get them all (& I have 400 points…) – but I feel like I’ve gotten 86 Cargo blushes lately, I hate candles, and I’m swimming in everything else….. Hmmm…

Wondering if Mothers Day is now not politically correct, why change the name, odd.
Reply
JoyW
Maybe they changed the name just to appeal to a broader group? This way is not necessarily centered around mothers.

Wow, already shipped.

I ordered mine, but really think that they shouldn’t have sample size products, I’m really liking Glossyboxes more.

When I first saw this several weeks ago I thought for sure I would be purchasing one. However, I’m disappointed that there will be so much variance with colors/scents. And I’m realizing there is nothing in this box I really “need” — I’m mostly just tempted by the pretty curation. I think I’ll put my BB points toward full-size items from a luxry BB brand that I love. (Such as By Terry!)

I would probably go for it if I knew what the products would be. There’s just too much variation with the colors and scent. My purse of course says this is a good thing! 😉

I wonder what prompted BirchBox to change the name? It seems strange to change the name after announcing it as a Mother’s Day box a month ago. I have no problems with the name change. I’m always curious about businesses.
I’m passing on the box. There’s only a couple items that interest me. I do hope everyone enjoys their boxes.

I will be skipping this one. It looks like a nice variety, but nothing that I’m excited about. I absolutely loved the Fresh Start box this winter. Everything except for the patchouli bath salt was awesome. Hope their next LE box nothing is more my style!

I think I’ll be passing on this one. The two items I’m most interested in are the blush and lipstick, but the colors will vary, so that’s too risky for me. Everything else, I could take or leave.

I had $600 in points. So I used a code and also bought something else that was $32. I ended up paying $15 out of pocket but I didn’t waste any points that way. (And yesterday was payday, anyway!)

Ragan
Oops, I mean 600 points ($60).
Six hundred dollars in points would be pretty amazing…but I will never get there.

None of the codes worked for me except takeoff10, which is $10 off. With $40 in points I paid $12. Thanks.

WELCOMEOFFER20 worked! Combined with my $10 in birchbox points I was able to save $32. Thanks Liz!
