I also had a $49.99 charge on my CC last week, but logged into both of my FFF accounts and it said they were both canceled! Duh, because I canceled them months ago.

I wrote to them explaining this and all they said was “sorry you want to cancel, we will issue you a refund”.

The issue was that I had canceled months ago and was still being charged! They totally ignored what I was saying and didnt bother addressing why I was still being charged though I canceled months ago!

Add me to the list of people this happened to. In my case, I canceled in January. I got an e-mail earlier this week that they had processed my order for $49.99 and my account was charged. Then I got an e-mail a couple of hours later that they had refunded my order and canceled my subscription. I e-mailed them to let them know that removing money only to process a refund does not make me whole as a refund won’t post for some time. Their attitude was basically “Sorry, not sorry”.
I purchased this exact deal through Gilt City for the Winter box and it was a hassle to have it fulfilled because they did not ship the two extras with the box and I had to e-mail them to get them to send them to me.
Love the box. Not at all happy with their billing, shipping and service, which is kind of a big deal. I do not plan to resubscribe in the future.

I’m finding the incessant emails trying to sell more spring boxes irritating. Can’t they just ship the spring boxes already? They might be trying to ship all at once but even that makes little sense because they ship in waves anyway. It’s a huge turnoff getting daily emails trying to sell me a second box before they’ve bothered to ship the first one I paid for weeks ago. No, I don’t want to hand you more $ before getting what I already paid for first. Sheesh!

You still receive them after cancelling. I can’t complain because I cancelled after the fall box without any problems. I rather delete mails than be charged for boxes I don’t want.

There’s nothing wrong with this box. I received enough sub boxes over the past year that the spoilers don’t interest me. I am glad that I did not have problems with my cancellation back last fall.

This says “new customers only” can I still use this if I bought one box last year and cancelled? Should I use another email to sign up.

Yes, you have to subscribe from a new account. I use my husband’s email since I’d previously used mine and our shared email.

I just had an awful time canceling with fabfitfun. I went through their website twice and both times was told my account had been cancelled and I would recieve an email within 5(!) days confirming my cancellation. Didn’t get the email, forgot about it, and when I was charged for the spring box I blamed myself. Tried canceling again, didn’t get an email so I sent them a long email about how frusturated I was. All I got back was a form email saying my account was cancelled, no apology or explanation. If you cancel with them make sure it is confirmed!!

Their billing must be really messed up. I paid for a new subscription in February for the Spring box. Then on March 9th they charged me 2 more times for the Spring box. They did refund me for both those charges, but I had to email them several times to get a response.

I had the same cancellation experience with 2 accounts. I had to call since their web cancellation system is a joke. I never got an email confirmation, even after calling but they did (eventually) refund both (full price) charges. I cancelled because I had 2 50% off codes and needed to resubscribe from new accounts to use them. I think the system is designed to trap those who try to cancel online and then don’t have time to call (like many other monthly/quarterly subs do, too).

I had the same experience. Emailing them worked and they refunded me.

Me too! I sent through the website cancellation twice and I didn’t receive a confirmation either time. I emailed them telling them I wanted to cancel and started a dispute with my cc company on the charges for the Spring box. After I opened the dispute, they did close my account but this would make me very hesitant to ever subscribe to FFF again.

I did the same thing and also still got charged for the spring box. I sent them an email too and they said they cancelled it (again) but for AFTER the spring box!

I think this is a great value. I already have this box and I guess I will get the gift cards again (fashion project / Zumba). The eyeshadow brushes and scarf are from a current box I didn’t subscribe to. I can always use a water bottle and as far as the apron I wasn’t subscribed to the box when the apron was given out so I would love to get this. This is a win win for me, they didn’t charge shipping which was also the reason I bought it. Thanks Liz for notifying as recently I only browse through gilt.com and not Rue La La.

The fashion project / Zumba cards are from the Winter box. This is for the Spring box.

I just noticed. Bummer

It’s interesting to see the things that they can’t seem to get rid of. They are offering the water bottle as an add-on to the box (or something like that) when I log into my account if offers the opportunity to buy it. I can’t remember how much. I haven’t been tempted as I have a ton of water bottles.

Frankly, I think it would be nice if they would offer these perks to their annual/select members rather than doing specials on Rue La La… engender some customer loyalties and provide some more perks for people who are willing to commit.

They can’t give those stupid water bottles away! I love my apron, but don’t need another. Looks like the MSA is WAY more valuable than the Ruelala deal.

They still have those aprons? They should set up a store on their site so people can buy overstock

I couldn’t give that apron away….

That’s funny that they still have those aprons. I already subscribed to this box, but I would not mind the water bottle. Hmmmm.
