Swap Site Vacation Mode is Live!

How long does it take to get off the waitlist and get to start swapping? I have so many things piling up I don’t know what to do with them lol 🙂

How do you know if you’ve been had by a swapper? This is my first swap.

A couple more feature requests 🙂

— Being able to follow items directly from the thumbnail/search pages without having to learn more.
— When an item is listed, showing the person with newest listing on top or add tab Newest First

Great feature. I would love a way to click a link to see the swapper’s negative review instead of having to scroll through their whole review page. Also it would be great to have an option for that person to respond or defend that negative review like on ebay or amazon. Thanks for listening to us.

Here’s a question I have though…when I’m in Firefox and I have a page up from anywhere on the website (MSA or the swap section) my tab indicates that the page is constantly loading. I see the little rotating circle on the tab that indicates this. I’ve left pages up overnight and in the morning they are still supposedly loading even though the page is always fully loaded.

Any idea why this is? I’ve not had this on any other website I’ve been using. Kinda weird but not end of the world weird. 😉

Thanks for this feature. I am leaving town in next few days and need a swap break too, and turned it on as soon as I see this.

I’m also thinking, you need a vacation too! I know you have been stress about the Quarterly box, and I love those boxes, and sad that you’re no longer continuing with them. You make the right choice. Now that you have a few people on your team to post review, I think you should also take a vacation too, and re-charge!! You earn that.

This feature came at the perfect time for me, I need to take a break from swapping. I wrote that I was not using the site on my profile, but of course still got requests. I’m glad it’s now easy for everyone to see when someone is “on vacation.”

I meant jerk, I felt like a jerk

This is so helpful! Occasionally I need to take sanity breaks from swapping and I felt like I had to delete all of my listings so I didn’t waste people’s time or get loaded up on swap emails. That’s a pain to unlist and relist when you have like 90 items! Lol. Also, I can cut myself off those months I spend wayyy too much money on shipping. Haha

another possible future feature:
I was wondering if in the future we could see if a potential swapper has more than one item we have on our followed list. I know it shows if a swapper is following items we have but it would be great if we could see if someone has 5 items we are searching for.

Thanks again for all the hard work Both you and your Husband have done with the site. I Think i might be more addicted to this site now then any sub boxes!!!
