Birchbox Man Limited Edition Decked and Dashing Box Review

This would make a great gift for my hubby now that I am into subscription boxes. I usually just pick out travel bags from the dept store filled with items like this and the value is definitely there. I didn’t know about this gift box and I am always browsing birchbox. He only uses a specific cologne so that concerns me because the one he wears usually comes in a gift box around the holidays. But this deal is fantastic! It looks really luxe. I wanted to get him a grooming kit, shave kit, shoes, socks and a few clothes and kitchen stuff that I think he would enjoy. This box is so beautifully packaged, I think he would love it. He also usually uses one brand of soap, he says others his skin is super sensitive too. It’s still something to highly consider. 🙂

My husband really enjoyed this box. He spends nights away from home so, a dopper bag is very useful to him. He is also a fan of the Ernest Supplies products.

We ordered a couple more of this box for the men in our lives who are conscience if their appearance and the sweat the small stuff boxes for those men that love to workout or are a bit younger.

I think Birchbox hit it out of the park with their limited edition boxes for this season!!!!! I hope this trend continues!

I passed on this initially because my guy doesn’t use shaving cream or fragrance, but your review convinced me! I can always use the shaving cream myself and swap the fragrance for something else – I picked up a few other things to add to the kit instead.

Liz, did Birchbox say they were releasing more LE boxes throughout the holiday season or did I make that up with wishful thinking? 😉

Also, I’d like to add: Liz, thank you for reviewing the mens’ boxes. I know they don’t seem to generate the same amount of interest/discussion around here, but I find them incredibly useful! I’m always on the lookout for gifts for my husband, father, and father-in-law. Guys can be so tricky to buy for – and sub boxes (especially the LE ones) are a great way to get a lot of bang for your gift dollar. Thanks to MSA, I’m set for the holidays – PSMH LE Holiday box for him for the Husband, this Birchbox LE for my dad, and 1 weeks of Blue Apron via RLL for my father-in-law.

Not bad for $33.20 total! 🙂

My husband loves this scent (he received it in his last BB Man) and he also loves the Gameday line so I think this will make a great gift, plus I have just shy of 500 points. Seems like a great little freebie x-mas gift to pick up. 🙂

P.S. Have you done a gift guide for men yet? I really need to get on the swaps and see if there are any manly treasures that I can swap for.

I was already planning on buying the EL Notting Hill cologne for my husband for a stocking stuffer (he sampled it in his BB man and loved it), and with the $10 off of this box for also buying a gift subscription for my mom, the box came out to be cheaper than the cologne would have been by itself. I was able to add two pairs of bombas for my husband and a Dr. Jart mask for myself, and after points, only paid $13 for everything.
