I have been a subscriber of GB for about 8 months now. I really enjoy the service because I love trying new trends, but don’t always want to pay for new clothes! 😀 If you aren’t familiar with the service, you add items to your closet (similar to your Netflix queue) and depending on the plan you subscribe to, you will receive a selection of your closeted items in the mail. All of the items arrive at your house cleaned and ready for wear and when you are done wearing them, you can send the item back in the pre-packaged envelope dirty! (Super nice to not have to wash another item of clothing…). Also, once you send the item out, you can notify GB online that you have mailed the item and they will send the next item in your closet – even before they receive your other item back. If you absolutely fall in love with an item, you can purchase it directly from GB for a reduced price and keep the item in your “real” closet!
Over the past few months, GB has been a lot better at sending out the clothes so they arrive quicker. When I first joined, it would take about a week and a half after you notified them of your return to receive your new items, but since they have moved to the new warehouse, the time has significantly decreased. I would also say that GB has gotten a larger selection of clothes to choose from and it is nice to wear an item once and not feel guilty about not wearing it again. Most of the items I have tried have fit me well and I have gotten familiar with the brands they offer and their sizing, but they also have size charts to help you decide.
Overall, I would highly recommend this service if you like to try new clothes out, but aren’t willing to commit to the trendy pieces.

Thanks for the info! I was wondering how long it took them to ship and if they had to wait and get your returned items first.

I would love to know anyone else’s experiences with Gwynnie Bee. I’m losing weight and hate buying new clothes I am just going to not fit in the next month. Anyone have a good or bad experience?

I’m a size 12/14 and just finished my first month. I was worried because I’m on the smaller size of plus size so sometimes the clothes don’t always fit me well or my sizes aren’t offered. It’s been quite the opposite with GB — they have had my size in almost everything and I have already bought three pieces! The only item I haven’t liked was a coat that everyone has seemed to dislike, so it wasn’t just me. But all the clothes have been extremely flattering, way more so than I was expecting. I also knew that you could purchase the items you liked but was expecting prices to be high since it was a subscription box. However, I bought one long sleeved lace sweatshirt type shirt for $19, a short sleeved floral print silk feeling blouse that drapes amazingly for $13, and a faux leather bomber jacket for $50… All of which are super reasonable prices for me since sometimes even Target is more expensive than that! I really can’t say enough good things about GB.

From the reviews I’ve read, it’s great if you’re size 18+, but there’s not a lot of availability for sizes 10-16. That’s just my own research though, not personal experience, so take it for what it’s worth!

I am a size 16 and been a subscriber for almost 8 months. When I first joined GB, I would have agreed with your comment – they had a limited selection for my size. Over the past few months, I believe the selection of items for my size have increased. All of the items I have received have been flattering and look like high-quality items. I hope this helps! 😀

I’m not really interested in rental programs but does anyone know of sub boxes with cloths for larger women? Something like golden tote? I love that fabletics carries xl and xxl! But would love other clothing subs!
