I will be really pissed if I received the tarte lip tint in awakening….since it is the older packaging….it must have been sitting around for a looooooong time! It is not fair that they use this old product as an option anyways……lame

Glossybox is such a pain (we all know that:) but I love their boxes lately…reluctantly, I have just learned to put up with their late shipping, missing promos, etc. You really have to stay on top of them in terms of billing, shipping etc and that is not fun. But, I must say their boxes have been some of the best lately so I have decided to stick it out too. I am super excited to get Tarte in my Oct. box. I am also getting (well supposed to get…we’ll see if they include it), the bonus glamglow that I signed up for with a promo.

A word of caution to longtime subscribers: unlike in the past, you have to affirmatively cancel previously standalone subs or risk them auto renewing at full price. I’ve never had to cancel a time limited sub so I didn’t appreciate them saying it’s always been that way. Um, no it hasn’t been and I as a 2 year customer would know if I’ve never had to cancel before (I always buy 3 month subs and they never,me ER auto renewed on me until now). I saw on another beauty blog that hundreds got hit with the same bogus auto renewals and no one else had never had to cancel to avoid being charged, so I know I didn’t dream it. I hate when a company tries to pull a fast one on me. Oh I should probably mention that the sub they tried to auto renew was a GIFT sub, not a regular monthly one. Keep that in mind too if you’ve recently gifted a sub. They’ll get you there too. If it weren’t for the products, I’d have dumped Glossy for good over a year ago. Their CS is some of the worst around and their communication is all but nonexistent. They live in react mode versus affirmatively acting and communicating. After this 3 month sub ends, I think I’m all done for a while. It shouldn’t be this painful and time consuming to be a beauty subscription customer!

I just bought a 3 month subscription to get a BB cream, and I just had another 3 month subscription ending, so they overlapped them for September and I got 2 boxes. Then I just got an email that my payment went through, I think it was for the first 3 month subscription. I had no idea a 3 month subscription would auto-renew I’ll have to try contacting them and complaining. I haven’t had too much trouble getting them to respond, but auto-renewing specific time frame subscriptions is BS.

I just received the September box…When does the October box normally get shipped out? I signed up at the end of September for Glossybox and received the same box as many did in September…Should I assume I will receive this box, just later in the month of October or the beginning of November? Also I used a code for the BB cream and didn’t receive that either…Should I just email glossybox? Thank you ladies for any advice you can share with a new Beauty Box Addict ♡

After hundreds of us complained over the last month about not getting the BB cream, non-renewing 3 month subs that suddenly started auto renewing (at full price), and the always delayed shipping, Glossy finally sent a mass email today saying they made a mistake and left out the BB cream so would send it along with another Sep box to make up for all the errors and delays. Not thrilled about that since I had to take a second Sep box already to get the BB cream special (which they then forgot to send). They must have an overflow of Sep products to offload. I’ll be gifting a lot.

I was surprised by that whoops e-mail; when I wrote in to say that I hadn’t received the Boscia BB Cream, CS said that the 3 months/$45 deal did not include the BB Cream, but that they would send it to me anyway. I thought that was super generous — until the follow-up e-mail about the second September box and the comments here, which tells me that yes, it should have been included. Weird mixed messages.
Oh well, I was pretty happy with my first September box — I will be glad to have a second one!

I cancelled my glossy box subscription cuz they were gonna re-sign me up for the 3 month one. I cancelled the end of September, got a cancellation email, and they STILL charged me $60! Wth! I told my PayPal I didn’t authorize the charges and tried calling glossy box but of course no one was there to answer my call. So I emailed them. Has anyone ever had this issue? How did you get it resolved?

Same thing happened to me! I kept calling and emailing, and finally they responded to an email that they’d refund…hopefully that happens ASAP! I wonder if it’s a problem a lot of people had.

They sent me a reply email today saying that we’re supposed to cancel on the 14th of the last subscription month but this time they’d make an exception. I didn’t see that on the website anywhere!

I just found out they are sending me a whole other September box + the BB cream that was supposed to be included (I used the code you had last month with the $45/months) for FREE :))) I had completely forgot about the BB cream anyways – so I was super stoked!

I think Popsugar is seriously bogged down at the moment. Their new website has brought up issues that were not prepared for. Some old subscribers are no longer able to view their orders from before the revamping of the website, customer service has become extremely slow, the explanation on how their service works is not nearly as concise as it used to be, and so on.
Also, near the end of September they made multiple $10 off coupon codes, and a $15 off coupon which would obviously lead to an increase in subscribers. I ordered a September box as a birthday presents two weeks ago, and still have not received any tracking information! Between the two issues, I think Popsugar has bitten off more than they can chew >.<

I tried getting my popugar referral link to put on my blog and they said I wasn’t a customer!! I tried emailing them over a week and a half ago and no response except an automated one at first and then another one saying they are extremely busy but will get back to me as soon as they can. Still nothing.

For me they are not crediting when people use my link as a referral and told me my friends didnt use it. When I was sitting next to her when it happen.

I’m so glad I stuck it out with Glossybox. I had a few issues with them and cancelled once before, but I got sucked back in because of the birthday spoiler (showing a sample from every box through November). I haven’t been disappointed! I loved the Harper’s Bazaar box and October looks like it will be awesome too. Hopefully they will keep curating their boxes like this.
