Now that you've seen all the items - what's your Golden Tote plan for this month? I'm having a bit of a "I want all the things" struggle myself!

I love Golden Tote and all, but a lot of times the clothes they go for make even the skinny minnie model look physically bigger/wider than she is. One thing is the loose and flow-y look, which i like from time to time, but in that case the fact that it is loose should be evident, not look like the person herself is bigger than she normally looks. And sometimes they do the loose look well. Plus it’s not like the model(s) ever looks or could look ‘big’ but I just think certain outfits make her look bigger than others, aren’t flattering/don’t do her justice. And then I knowwww I’m not as skinny as she is, so I think ‘don’t bother’ with those particular articles of clothing

This is the first time there have been enough items I like to be worth it to me- enough that I think I’m actually going to try to get a $149 and a $49 tote. I love the vegan jacket, the zippered pocket dress, and the hooded plaid top. I’m nervous about the surprise items because a lot of what I’ve seen doesn’t seem like my style, but looking at the prices, even if I only like what I chose it’ll be worth it.

How do you know which items will show in which tote? Or at least, how are you sure the owl sweater will be in the $150 tote?

So I’ve never ordered a Golden Tote before but I’m in love with the cargo jacket, the owl sweaters, and so much more.
How soon do you have to purchase before they sell out? Will most items already be gone a few hours into the sale if you’re not able to get off work until then?

Sadly…. I can’t figure out the swap board to save my life. I know crazy. But I do everything on my phone, our daughter that is still at home uses her laptop for school so I never know when I can use it and ours died. Over the weekend QVC ( yes I am a shopping junky ) had the Kindle fire on awesome sale with the easy payments. Love those free shipping and easy payments. Anyway. Hubby got me one. What a sweetie.

Congrats on the tablet and you have a keeper there! 🙂 When you get the new tablet, give the swap site another try. I was worried that I was going to mess something up big time. It took me 3 tries I think, just because I was freaking myself out. It’s not as hard as our minds make it. If you are running into issues… Trust me, these girls are great at helping… Plus, you always can ask the awesome Liz. 🙂

Are the sizes pretty true to size? And XL is not offered, correct? I would love to try the service this month for the owl sweater and the floral shirt, but I am worried about sizing!

You’re correct about the XL, but as I mentioned in another comment, they usually say in the description if an item is true to size or runs large or small. You can also generally tell by how it fits the model (they say what size she’s wearing and her measurements, too.) They put the items in the boutique the day before so you can check them out there. I’m glad a lot of you are finding things you like, and I wish you all the best of luck at getting them before they sell out. Personally, I have yet to see anything from Golden Tote that I would want to wear. These clothes are just not for me. I suppose I am saving money that way, at least.

No, I just really don’t care for Golden Tote clothes. They’re not my style. And too many of the surprise items aren’t suitable for wearing to where I work. Some of their pants remind me of pajama bottoms and many (though not all) of their dresses and skirts are far too short for me (I’m not even tall). I think I’d rather take the money and go somewhere like Marshall’s or TJ Maxx or Burlington Coat Factory and buy less expensive things that can go in the washing machine and dryer and that I can try on first.

OMG!!! I know what I’m going to do.
1. Be ready when the sale starts.
2. Charge card in hand.
3. Blow way too much money.
4. Oh yeah-ask for forgiveness-not permission. LOL. Kidding I will run it by hubby during Sunday football. He’ll say yes to anything for game snacks.
I do have a question for anyone with words of wisdom. On my profile where you fill in what you would never wear I put dresses, skirts and anything sleeveless. Well my surprise item was a skirt. Not just any skirt but one for a much taller than me person. I’m 5ft. It is a gorgeous skirt but just not for me. What should I do?

Oh man, ladies are gonna fight for that moto jacket and owl sweater!
I wore my grey owl sweater from last year’s Golden Tote today and had SO many compliments. Such a sweet buy, but went fast even last year before they were as crazy popular as they are now.
