Golden Tote had some technical issues yesterday, so they pushed their September launch back to today at noon. This month they are offering free shipping (in a refund) for all orders over $250. (And they are going to start shipping orders immediately!)
I think "Free shipping" is one of the greatest products of the internet ever, because I was very content with the idea of buying one $149 tote with one add-on, and now I want to buy another $149 tote just to get free shipping!

Hey guys! I ordered my first GoldenTote bag! Can’t wait. But just had a question while I do wait. 🙂 is the sizing pretty true to size? I mean I went with what I normally wear…I probably won’t do any kind of jeans. Just curious more on tops/dresses/sweaters! Thanks!

How long does yours usually take to ship to you? I live in Ohio and just did normal shipping so hopefully it doesn’t take too long! I’m so nervous that I won’t like everything. I’ve tried stitch fix a few times and have only found a few pieces that I LOVE. I was able to get the two items I really wanted though so I hope it turns out great!

The Tote ships from CA, and I’m in MD. I got my first one last month, and from the day it shipped, it took 5 or 6 days to get to me. So probably a little faster for you, depending on the route it takes. I also got a Tote this month, it shipped today, and according to UPS Choice, it should be here Wednesday. So about the same time frame as last time.
But that depends on when they ship it out. They started doing shipping early this time, shipping some out each day this week since the sale. I think their goal is to have them all shipped by the second Friday after the sale.

Managed to finally get a tote. Got to the payment screen then wouldnt process. Had to empty my cart and start again. Luckily the one item I wanted was still available. SInce this is m first tote, I went with the $49 one and got the teal swing dress. Hopefully I like it and it fits properly.

Turns out paypal isn’t processing. After trying once I called GT, no answer. So after 2 more times of trying again, I looked on FB and saw someone posted that cards were working but not paypal. Worked right away. Luckily everything of mine was still available.

I had to try a few times because it kept saying it couldn’t process my order. Emptied cart and started from scratch, changing one of my items. Still had to try two different credit cards before it went through (on the one, it was claiming it was the wrong verification number, but I typed it exactly from the back of the card). Got the chic front-zip jacket in peach and patterned v-neck blouse in my tote, plus the slim boyfriend jeans as an add-on so that I could return them separately if needed.
I originally tried to get the sweater jacket, and I see that it sold out quickly, so maybe that’s why my order wouldn’t process?

Went on right on time, got all the way to check out and it wouldn’t process. Then went to re-order and my items were sold out!!! So disappointed. The 2 things I wanted – AND WERE IN MY CART, were suddenly sold out when I tried to place the order. It was like 11:03am CST. Ridiculous. I used to love GT, but all of the site issues are just not worth it.

Same here! I was so excited to get the mod shift dress in my size and went to check out and it was sold out. So I went back and added the ivory plaid shirt and checked out and by the time I re-typed my cc number, it was sold out! Very frustrating BUT I had several things I wanted so it worked out.

Plus from what I understand, you get the free shipping if you spend $250 over the course of the month, not necessarily all at once. So you could order a tote and add-on today, then order something else later in the month, and they’ll refund shipping! I’m thinking I might split it that way so it doesn’t look to my husband that I spent so much on the tote! 🙂
