  1. Hmmm. Unimpressed with the summer box (except the flash facial which I love), so still on the fence about this one. Don’t care about the apron (poorly reviewed on amazon and I have a lot of aprons), and the Dermalogica sells for $35 – less than the (full) cost of the box. I’m waiting for more spoilers.

    I did get the groupon for $29.99 (“Buy with friends”) which is a pretty good deal. I’ll wait for more spoilers and maybe save the groupon for the winter box…

  2. I’ve loved FFF since the first box. This will be the only one I don’t get. I wish I could but I was laid off 10 months ago then diagnosed with cancer right after. I’m still not well and not working. I just simply can’t afford it this time around.

    Did they refund you?

    I had the same issue with FFF . I had a regular account and I purchased the Rue la la deal so I have a few fall boxes my way.

    I would reach out to them again and explain that you purchased the rue la la deal which included a summer and fall box yet you were mistakenly charged for another fall box. So you would like to be refunded for this error.
    I called them and spoke to someone. But usually I’ll email them, Facebook message them or Instagram them, they are pretty good at responding. But I think a lot of people had this issue so if you really want a fast reply reach out on every form of contact!

    • Hello Blessedmommie! I thought since they charged my card I would call them. She put me on hold, came back and said she refunded the charge. I wanted to call anyway just to see if I could get an idea when they were shipping. Everyone I have ever spoke to at FFF was super nice and I believe the errors and problems they have are not the fault of the people answering the phones, so I try to be as nice to them as I can.
      I am so happy with this box that it is worth it. I am dying to know what else will be in the box.
      Also, did you see the 2nd spoiler for MSA? I am dying over that one too…..I give up..I will never get a spoiler free box. I have to look!

  5. FabFitFun not so fun. Well they charged my card the $50 even though I had paid through Rulala. The person at FFF said the box had shipped Monday when the card was charged, however, she could not provide a tracking number. I asked if the box was assigned a shipping label and not actually shipped….she insisted the box was on the way but yet, still could provide no tracking number because of “the way their data base works”
    What a headache this has been from the start.

  7. Liz just wanted you to know that I received an email yesterday allowing me to pick the colour of my apron. I was given a first and second choice and after I did that I received a message that I would be one of the first boxes to ship on the 22nd. This will be my 2nd box in the 3 box special you had posted ages ago.
    I know people have used my code so I don’t know how that works since I prepaid and there seems to be no tracking on the FFF site. I did receive a photo with the blacked out of the samples. Wish I could attach a picture for you….

  8. I was going to get this box, but I saw the same aprons for around $20-25 on Amazon in many more styles. There are also some negative reviews on these aprons, apparently washing it (exactly the way the instructions specify) causes the pattern to wash off! This was a big turn off for me. There are several cute aprons from other places that I can get. Too bad, I was actually liking the contents of this one.

  9. I’m SO excited for this box. I signed up this summer with the Rue La La deal for $70 for summer & fall. I knew the full spoilers for summer at that point and knew it was well worth the $35. I love the flash facial, nail polish & moisturizer and can’t wait to try the hair oil for my dry frizzy hair (I need to use up my current product first). The only product I was “meh” about was the clutch since I didn’t love my pattern, but I figured I can use it to store smaller items in my suitcase while traveling. Problem solved.

    And for fall, the Dermalogica is awesome, especially since I’m almost out of serum! It has great reviews too. And that apron is beyond adorable. This is already worth the $35 I paid. Can’t wait for the rest πŸ™‚

  10. Caved and bought one. I loved the first spoiler as I do a lot of cooking and I have never seen an apron in a box before. And then just this morning I was saying to myself, I’m running out of face moisturizer, I hope one comes in one of my boxes soon, and behold FFF has one as their second spoiler. I used the code TryFFF and got the $10 off.

  11. I ordered the rue la la 2 month voucher for summer and fall boxes, and I checked my bank account and was billed $49.99 for the Fall box today. I had to call customer service to get this charge reversed. If you ordered using this voucher, I would double check that you were not auto-billed for the Fall box.

    • Thanks for letting us know. That’s how I ordered mine. I used Paypal and I don’t see any new charges as of now. All of this talk really concerns me. Its one thing to not ship or something but to charge all of these credit cards. Now watch, my fall box just wont come. I went though a heck of a time trying to get my summer box. It took about 4 weeks and a lot of help from a very nice and patient MSA subscriber. The CS people were very nice and helpful but still…….finally a couple of weeks ago they said they would send it fed ex so I wouldn’t have to wait any longer and then it still took almost a week. Bottom line is I did get it though but had to keep contacting them. I really do like this sub and hope they straighten it out. Gee I cant believe after all the postings I’ve read and now they have charged you! How did they get your credit card info? Oh I think we had to supply it when we joined FFF….that’s right. Well I better keep an eye on my Amex.

  12. To offer some help to you guys I called twice and immediately reached a representative and she said that my money would be reversed and I told her I was not charged and she saw that. If you were charged or were not charged please contact fab fit fun. I did not even need my referral number and she said that she added me to thw shipping list and the box was in deed free for me.

    Call 1855-313-6263 I wrote the number down and I can barely read my own writing. Lol.. So I think this is right.

    I called twice to be sure and spoke to two different reps. Both were very nice! πŸ™‚

    Please call if you need your free box. If you remember your code that will be helpful allthough they never asked for mine. Let me know your outcome. This seems like an awesome box and I’m super exited!

    • The customer service has always been great at fabfitfun – I also called today and got the friendliest happiest customer service person on the phone. Got my charge reversed, even got an email confirming. I really like fabfitfun, and depending on all the contents in this box i might even order another one because of their great customer service.

  13. I am suppose to get this box free from referrals and verifIed them a few months back and they assured and assured me I would not be charged. Has anyone else had this problem? I received a message that they tried to charge me $49.99 today! I didn’t get charged because my card that i use for subscriptions is maxed out. I contacted them and waiting on a response.

    In response to Lily this box is for fall and it will probably be abailable until the end of November. Just guessing because the summer box lasted forever and got close but never fully sold out. πŸ™‚

    • Same here! I got a new card and hadn’t changed it yet on their site. Glad I didn’t now since I’m being charged as well even though I verified I’d be receiving this box for free with referrals. Contacted them and waiting to hear back.

  14. Does anyone know when these typically sell out? I kind of want to wait for full spoilers before I sub, but also don’t want to miss out if it usually sells out quickly?! Suggestions, anyone?

    • I think you’ll have plenty of time to get this box, maybe a whole month or even two months after the full spoilers are released.

  16. Did anyone else get billed this morning in full, that had referral points/dollars off when they reffered someone that used their code — from the last coupon code that was in the last box?

    • I cancelled because I had people use my referral codes and the website doesn’t track or show you when you get a referral. I even emailed customer service and they couldn’t confirm my free box that I earned. I was so disappointed in the website and customer service that even though I had a free box coming I cancelled because I just knew I would be billed full price and I didn’t feel like fighting them over it.

      • I have an email stating I had 1 person use the code, and I called them a lot, and found out 2 more people used my code and the box was free, so I trusted it would be okay. The first email I got this morning saying my card was billed for the full amount, I’m so frustrated right now. πŸ™ – The box looks great, yet when someone refers people in order to get $’s off there should not be any mixups. I’m guessing there are many others that are having this same issue this morning.

        • Same issue. Their number goes straight to voice mail, so I just sent them an e-mail. I even spoke to customer service over the summer, and they said there shouldn’t be an issue…

          • Glad I’m not the only one – i did not think I would be – luckily I still had an email with my coupon code #. It was in my email trash. – Luckily I did not delete it completely. – I looked on their site looks like they open at 9:30 pacific time.

          • Okay, I just got through to their customer service on the phone, and the rep agreed that I should have been credited, and voided the charge. Phew. Now I hope everything goes okay with actually receiving the box πŸ™‚

            I had the same problem but I have proof from there past emails that I will get the box free. I think this is not right and you guys should Fight them through the nail. Lol. I mean so this helps them see all who has peoblems. Afterall $50 is a lot of money and the box valued 4x that.

            I don’t wish anyone to not get there earned box. Keep coNtacting them and you will get someone who cares.

    • YES!!!! I was suppose to get this box free and they tried to charge me $49.99 which was declined.

      I saved there past emails with my code and them telling me I would get the box free. That’s PROOF! But I emailed them and waiting on a responce.

  18. I am excited about FFF and this spoiler is perfect with the cold weather approaching. I’m not super excited about the apron but it’s not a horrible item..they do look super cute! Due to I don’t know what I finally received the summer box last week. Their CS is great. I was so impressed with the summer box, both the items and value. I paid the special two for $70 and the Fall box is the second.

  19. I wanted the MSA box so bad, but missed out unfortunately, so I finally signed up for FFF as my replacement (pales in comparison, IMO). However, I’m cancelling after fall’s box, b/c I’m now on the list for the next MSA box! Woohoo! Can’t wait! πŸ™‚ mMe finding out about subscription boxes was my husband’s worst nightmare, LOL!

  20. I hope there is more to the box than this and the apron. I will be giving this to my mom probably as I don’t really see I as something I need. My skin is super sensitive and I don’t feel like taking a risk on something I don’t really need.

  21. Historically I’ve had no interested in this box whatsoever. However, between this and the apron spoiler (and the discount count), I’ve finally decided to give it a try. I’ve been wanting a cute/sexy apron, I’ve been wanting to try Dermalogica… and between those two things this box more than pays for itself. Anything else included in the box that I happen to like will be gravy. Thanks for posting!

  22. I’ve been wanting to try this brand and the reviews are fantastic. In the summer box I absolutely loved the flash facial and also liked the wonderful hair oil which lasts forever and I use a drop on my cuticles, etc. The Purlisse and other goodies were added bonuses. I’m so happy I bought it because the code sharing helped me to earn this box free and I’m super exited and greatful to Liz’s site. They are charging tomorrow and shipping this week and next week. I can’t wait to see what else is to come. I’m hoping for makeup, jewelry, scarf, more skin care. This item alone makes it worth it and the apron is adorable. I will probably use it to start baking and as a decor piece. My hubby is the main cook, a chef but I’m sure he’ll like it for me. Lol! πŸ™‚ I think it’s really cute and perfect for fall winter so I’m exited! The value is better with this sub then PSMH but they have an all around variety but some of the items I want use as FFF has good makeup, skin care and more. This last PSMH with scarf is just toooo nice though! I’m kinda hoping we have something like that with this box but I’m kinda doubting it in a way because of how people have compared the last FFF to PSMH with the water bottle. I know this box is going to be great! πŸ™‚ Plus even with the $10 code it’s an even greater deal.

  24. I am fairly new to the subscription world…and I’m already addicted. Your name says it all. I have been subscribing to BB, Ipsy, glossybox and popsugar for about 3 months now. I really love popsugar and really loved the LE box. With that being said, I’m considering FFF as it seems the most similar to PS based on your reviews. Is this correct Liz? What others would you recommend that are similar? TIA!

    • I agree that FFF is in the same category as POPSUGAR, and it’s nice on the budget since it only ships once a season πŸ™‚ Blush Mystery Beauty Box is another good beauty one if you are looking for a high-value beauty subscription. Another really popular one to try that I personally love is Fabletics. (And hopefully when the POPSUGAR site relaunches on Tuesday there will be even more POPSUGAR box subscriptions to try!)
