Arcade Block September 2014 Spoiler

The first Arcade Block spoiler is out! Each box will include an exclusive Zelda t-shirt. (Also isn't the box design above the best box packaging you've ever seen?)

Our box is schedule to arrive next Saturday the 4th! My 15 year old son can’t wait! Legend of Zelda T-shirt, Pac Man, Tomb Raider and who knows what else. I’m hoping there will be something for my 6 year old.

I hope this doesn’t sound too dumb. I subscribed to this for my son. He had been receiving Loot Crate and after a few months of so-so boxes, he was ready to try something new. I tried to get a gift subscription so I wouldn’t have to go in and manually cancel if he didn’t like it as much as Loot Crate, but didn’t see that option. It seems as if it is month to month and canceling needs to be done by a certain time to avoid getting the next box. Why, then, are Oct. boxes available if Sept. is sold out? Do I need to resubscribe for Oct. or will it roll over automatically? Thanks in advance!

I just signed up this morning. I received an email promptly that stated I would receive my first box in October. This is a month to month subscription. You do not have to sign up every month. According to their website, Arcade (and Horror) Block is billed on the 10th of every month. So, if you signed up and paid for October, you will get that box and your first monthly billing installment would be Nov 10th. You have to cancel by the 8th (I believe. Check their FAQ to make sure) so that you will not be billed that month. If you do not cancel, you will be billed monthly. The Classic as well as the Jr boxes are billed and shipped on a different day than the Arcade and Horror boxes.

I also looked for non renewing gift subscription and could not find one for Nerd Block. I have a list of all my monthly boxes and when they are due so I do not forget to add them into the budget and to know when I need to cancel them by so I will not be charged if I no longer wish to keep the subscription.

Here’s hoping to a great October box!!!

I LOVE the concept of this box and I know it’s going to be awesomely curated because I feel like all the Nerd Block boxes are…it just isnt’ in my budget. I tried to talk it up to my boyfriend to see if he’d go halvesies with me on it but he didn’t bite! haha I can’t wait to see what’s in the first box.
