Square Hue Nail Polish Subscription Box Review – August 2014 Microshimmer

Square Hue Polish in Cannon Drive

Square Hue Polish in Wilshire Boulevard

This shades are both microshimmers. I love the underlying grey-metallic colors - I think these are both wonderful transition shades from summer to fall.

Square Hue Nail Polish Subscription Box Review – August 2014 Microglitter

Square Hue Polish in Rodeo Drive

I think it's only appropriate that the Rodeo Drive shade is gold! It's a micro-glitter and a muted-gold color - I love it!

Verdict: I think these may be my favorite Square Hue colors yet! I think they are all very wearable (but we'll see if I still think that after I paint my nails with the blue shimmer). I'm a fan of the Square Hue polish formula, and I recommend this box if you're looking for a subscription box that's just quality nail polish!

Im deciding between keeping my maven subscription or my square hue one, I love juleps formula it goes on heavy with one coat and doesent chip as easily as some other ones. I have a very physically demanding job so I need a good sturdy polish. Ive only had them for one month, Which one do you guys enjoy more in terms of colors and long lasting wear?

I got my SquareHue box yesterday and agree that these are some of the best colors yet. I loved the entire collection and immediately polished my fingers in the blue polish and my toes in the purple polish. I’m thinking of a way to incorporate the gold polish – maybe as a french tips with the blue or with a stamping pattern. Square Hue has some great polishes. I recommend them for anyone wanting to try a new polish only box.

I’m not sorry I skipped this month now! That purple is similar to what we just got, and June had two blue polishes. That gold looks pretty, though. 🙂

Those colors remind me a lot of the Ruffian polishes from Birchbox’s Modern Mermaid LE set. Not identical, but close enough that I don’t need them. Yay for resisting temptation (for once).

I am sure you gift/swap a lot but I am curious just how much nail polish you own! Hahaha!
