August Golden Tote Time!

Golden Tote goes on sale today at noon EST! Have you finalized which items you are picking this month? (Since items sell out very quickly, I recommend browsing their boutique now to pick out what you want!)

August Golden Tote Options!

They also have lots of accessories in the shop this month!

Hey!
Oh Liz you have got me obsessed with this sub now! 🙂 I’ve been looking forward to the opening of this moths lines and knew exactly what I wanted…. Well I logged on at 12:15 and the ONLY 2 dresses I was super pumped about were already sold out!!! In 15 min!! 🙁 So bummed!

I tried calling to see if I could sweet talk someone into putting at least 1 of the 2 I wanted in my tote but every time I called It went straight to voice mail.

So I was hoping you could answer a couple questions since you started my addiction. 😉 lol

Do they ever restock items sometimes? Or if once there sold out there no chance of getting one??

And Can you ever call and reach a person at Golden Tote or is it alway just voicemail?
I had questions about their sizes and returns because I’ve recently gained weight that puts me right on the boarder end of their size chart. Like they don’t have My size in jeans, so I can’t wear their pants… But hoping their tops and dresses will fit ok. The largest size they carry is Large right? I wish you could order pants larger then a 31 but I LOVE their tops and dresses so I think this Sub will work out!

Thank you Liz for turning me on to golden tote!

Now, Anyone know if theirs anyway around getting a sold out item??
-Also do things go on sale toward the end of the month?
(I saw a skirt for $35 today that was listed for $15 two weeks ago.)
– Oh & Are there any promo codes out there that get you a discount on your 1st Tote or at least free shipping???
(I couldn’t find any but just wanna be sure I’m not missing out!)?

Can’t believe they charge for shipping when you spend $149 PER Tote you order. I’m thinking about to buying a 2nd tote as soon as the 1st order I placed arrives tomorrow & I know how the clothes fit. 🙂

& Thank you in advance to Anyone who answers some of my questions!! 🙂

Yes, they restock sometimes. Be patient and check back later in the day, the next day, etc. they normally post rstock details on their fb.

Yes, sometimes you can reach people by phone, but it is a busy office, so it is best to leave a message. They will call back.

There is not a way around sold out items. You can hope for a restock, or returns at the end of the month.

Things do not always go on sale. You caught an odd month where the whole back catalog went on sale for 35. Often the retail value is much higher on all of these, such as the puella dresses that sell for $80-120 at anthro. This increased the price of a few items, and dramatically lowered the price of others. Not typical.

Discount codes are also not typical. I’ve seen two $10 codes in two years. Both times were for website glitches i believe.

Good luck with your first totes! They are very addictive, so just think of the shipping fee as saving you gas money to get to the mall or outlets! Well worth the cost for these brands 🙂

If I order this Golden Tote now when can I expect it to arrive? It’s just that I go back to college later this month and I’m trying to decide whether to ship it there or ship it to my parents’ house where I’m currently at.

Golden Tote shipping is very tricky to predict! Sometimes it takes up to 3 weeks for me to get my tote from when I placed my order, but last month I got it a week after I placed my order. To play it safe I would recommend shipping it to your college if it is OK if the package may get there a few days before you do!

I wasn’t going to get one but thought the polka dot chambray shirt would be good for transitioning to fall. So I got a $49 box plus a couple items from the boutique. That’s a great deal how they marked down the older items to $35!
One small complaint with the boutique though–why can’t they list the lengths of the necklaces?
This is my first Golden Tote, so fingers crossed!

On the spoilers, there was an awesome blue shirt with white embroidery. But now that the site is open, I only see the white with blue. I’m also disappointed in lack of cotton or linen types of materials, and think I’ll sit this one out.

I think if you click on the shirt to view it, you get color options. I remember seeing something like what you described. Unless it sold out already?

High quality rayon holds colors very well. It also drapes and flows better than cotton usually. You can get the dry-clean at home sheets in any store and use them in your dryer but clothes won’t shrink the items because they don’t get wet. At least this is my experience.

I just don’t understand why all of their clothes seem to be polyester.

And if it’s not polyester it’s rayon. Both are super cheap textiles. At least polyester doesn’t shrink, if you try and dry rayon 9 times out of 10 it will shrink to child size. Most companies are also too cheap to preshrink their textiles.

Thanks for pointing that out. I was sitting here being disappointed because the only cute item in the $49 tote was already gone in my size and color. Now I’m happy because I don’t do rayon or dry clean. It’s still a good day!
