And they also include lots of delicious sounding recipes using the food items in the box!

Hamptons Lane Review & $10 Coupon - August 2014 Caramel

Fat Toad Farm Cold Brew Coffee Caramel - Value $14

Didi Davis Food Vanilla Finishing Salt - Value $8

I can't eat dairy so I wasn't able to enjoy this caramel, but my husband LOVES all things cold brew coffee, so he was fine keeping it all to himself! And this finishing salt is great for me because I love the salty sweet combo - I may end up trying it on popcorn!

Hamptons Lane Review & $10 Coupon - August 2014 Straws

Kikkerland Extra Large Paper Straws - Value $4.50

Tovolo Tilt Up Ice Cream Scoop - Value $11

These straws are huge - perfect for milk shakes, smoothies, etc. And this is the best ice cream scoop ever according to Amazon reviews, so I'm happy to get a kitchen upgrade. Plus I love that it is dishwasher safe and BPA free!

Hamptons Lane Review & $10 Coupon - August 2014 Ice Cream

Tovolo Sweet Treats Ice Cream Tub - Value $8

Another dishwasher safe, BPA free item! I don't know how likely it is that we'll make our own ice cream anytime soon, but I'll probably use it for other food storage.

Hamptons Lane Review & $10 Coupon - August 2014 Spoon

Foodiespoon Edible Pretzel Spoons - Value $3?

I didn't know edible spoons existed, but apparently there are lots of varieties from Foodiespoon! They would be great for appetizers, and my husband loved these pretzel spoons with peanut butter!

Verdict: This month's box has a value of just under $50. For Hamptons Lane, I think the value is good, and the curation is great! These boxes really feel special and I love the new theme each month. I also love that you can skip any month you aren't interested in.

Also, just a friendly tip if you love ice cream but can't eat dairy like me - Trader Joe's has the best coconut milk ice cream ever!

What did you think of the August Hamptons Lane box?

FYI I’ve seen pretzel spoons @ the grocery store before (I think they’re Snyder’s brand?) They’re more flat than they are spoon-shaped though, but I think they’d do the job just as well!

I’m wildly jealous of the finishing salt. I’ve had a similar brand, and its incredible sprinkled on homemade caramel.
