Birchbox September 2014 Sample Pick Spoilers!

I got my Birchbox yesterday. Again great box. Shiseido, full size Pixi, 1 Oz Tocca hand cream, Harvey Prince Ageless shower gel 0.50 oz, vial Atelier perfume, and extra shampoo and conditioner ×2. 7 items to review. So pleased!

I cancelled and signed back up late so didn’t get to choose but my Sep box is finally showing on the web and I’m pretty pleased. Pixi lip balm tinted, Modesso ? Face moisturiser, #4 dentangling moisturizing spray, ofra universal eye brow pencil, Ruffian nail polish with remover cloth, and one other item I forget what. Lol but I’m confused it’s showing 6 items! !!! Not including the ruffian remover cloth which I guess comes with the nail polish.

This is the first month that everything looks full size besides the face moisturizer which the travel size retails for $28.50 (0.4 oz) and the #4 detangler spray.

The eye brow pencil is full size, the pixi tinted lip balm is full size and I’m unsure of the nail polish but it’s a great size nonetheless. I’m forgetting one item so I’ll go check and see what it is. Shocked my Sep box shows 6 items (plus a remover wipe. This is the hIghest valued box by far.

I’m thinking because I resubbed and this is there 4 year anniversary. 🙂

I just got a email to sneak a peek at my samples for this month so I did. On one of my BB accounts I chose the Fashionista box, however I’m only seeing 4 items I’m missing the Laura Mercier item. I’ll be pretty bummed if I only have 4 items in my box this month. Does anyone else see the 5th item listed in their account?

I got my email and signed right in- I mean i was looking at my phone when the email came in. Three of the sample choices were already gone. I really wanted to try that Davines conditioner. I’ve had the Oi shampoo and oil in my cart and debating on it. 🙁 Second choice was the Shiseido as I use the Dior One and I think its going to be similar.

Pretty bummed about this month.

I was just on and got my sample, no problems like the last couple times. maybe they have got their tech issues under control. I did see that the Fashionista box was sold out (maybe they will get more). I too already have 3 of the Cynthia Rowley eyeliners. I love them, but don’t need anymore for a long while. I’m just glad things went more smoothly this month, I know the last couple times there was a lot of frustration, so I hope everyone was able to get the item of their choice without a hassle.

I was able to select today. I lucked out and saw the email on my phone and selected right away.

This is actually the first month where I would have been happy with any of the samples! But I jumped on the ‘refer a friend and choose early’ bandwagon and did so. I picked the Shiseido b/c I’m 52 and my skin needs all the help it can get (though lol to the poster who said it sounded like a video game power up).

note: though I referred a friend 3 days ago, I did not get the early sample choice email (despite checking my email so many times @ work today that my phone died). However as soon as I went on the BB site and asked about it via chat, they instantly looked me up, saw that I had referred a friend, and let me choose. I was impressed with their customer service!

I just reserved Fashionista box 🙂 the only bad thing is, that I already have 2 Cynthia Rowley silver eyeliner I got from Birchbox. It will be my no 3! Anybody want to swap it for brown eyeliner? I will be happy to swap 2 of them.

A little packet of the Shisedo concentrate came in this month’s Allure magazine. I haven’t tried it get but I’m glad I got it that way so now I can choose something else in this month’s Birchbox to try out. I think I’m going to go for the conditioner.

Where did you see the spoiler about the Fashionista box? I’ve looked everywhere and don’t see any info about it. Looks like it could be good though because I want the Macadamia Healing Oil Spray!

If it helps anyone shiseido seems to have started adding sd alcohol as a top ingredient in its new stuff. I checked that serum out recently as it sounded nice but alcohol(and not plant alcohol) was the 2nd or 3rd ingredient. Not sure how a soothing serum contains alcohol. Too bad otherwise sounded great. I might go for Liz Earle since I haven’t tried it.

I want the Shisedo power infusing serum!!!

The cleanse I have been wanting to try but I am always into serums or anti aging so I love that. That would be my pick but the fashionista box also looks great.

I am not into much hair care but I have sampled Davines shampoo and conditioner and it’s nice.

All of these are wonderful sample choices but I want the Fasionista box as well as choosing the Shiseido serum. It’s a tough choice!

I cancelled BB but I’m going to sign back up for this month! 🙂

I’m getting the Fashionista box choice! It sounds awesome and I’m going to have to be on top of my email the day we can choose to get it before it’s out of stock! Just like the everygirl box last time.

debating between the macadamia and the liz earl any suggestions !

I’m torn between the davines and macadamia oil I’ve always wanted to try macadamia but since I’ve gotten Birchbox I’d like to tty davines

The Davines conditioner sample size is 75ml.

I’m torn between the Shiseido or the Macadamia Oil. Beauty DNA sent me a bottle of the oil which I love. My sister wants to try the Liz Earle.

Shiseido Ultimune Power Infusing Concentrate sounds like something that would help me in a video game, not a real life product. I might have to try the macadamia spray.

Do you think by month 3 they will have worked out the kinks???

YAY, i was debating between the first three, anything but the oil since i’m still loving the oil that i got in my fabfitfun box, even though the spray applicator does give it an advantage, and you definitely just convinced me that the conditioner is the best option.

Is that Davines sample the same one that came in the boxes a couple of months ago? I got that when I still subscribed. (Haven’t gotten around to using it yet.) If anyone already got that one, they might not get points for reviewing it a second time…
