I loved the summer box and will definetely try to snag this one as well. I dye my hair a lot, so I’m really looking forward to the John Freida hair stuff for colored hair. Where do I swap items at? There are a few products I won’t be using, and I’ve read that a lot of people swap the items they have no use for, so can somebody please help me out?
I’m disappointed that there are no high end items in this box. For the summer box, they had a BB IT cream which is so amazing and also the Tarte mascara is great!

The AllureBeautyBoxPromo.com link is working now and shows and update to one item, as well as saying that the box is now limited to one box per household! w00t!

Wow! I’m going to try my hardest to get a box, I’m blown away that so many people are unhappy about the contents. I absolutely LOVE hair products (maybe that’s because I’m a cosmetologist) and if I can’t use something I’ll bet my bottom I know someone that can… BAM! STOCKING STUFFERS!!
Good luck, y’all!

the only professional product in this box is the redken blonde idol stuff , i think people dont think it because its all drug store brands

I’m aware of that, I wouldn’t use drugstore brand on clients. But they’re fine for me or my sister, mom, and grandmother… they certainly don’t mind. I don’t shy away from a product just because it isn’t sold at my supply stores. I’ve ran across many lovely products just because I had to pick something up at the grocery store in a hurry. 🙂

I got the summer box and loved it. I can’t wait to try and get this one. I am so happy they are having less hair products too.

I will be trying to snag one of these Beauty Boxes!

Great products, good luck friends:-)

Wash, rinse, repeat. The Allure beauty box is always pretty much the same brands, very heavy on hair care products that I don’t need and won’t use. The products I would use are still worth the price plus shipping, but I’m just bored by the same brands over and over. That’s where a great deal of the joy for K- beauty comes from- the products are all new to us in the USA.

I’m sure it will sell out as usual, but I wish Allure would curate a more varied box. I’d like fewer products with higher values for $50.. and a lot less ” specialized” hair care. This is an era of free and naturally styled hair- Allure hasn’t let go of the styling products which were hot in the market 5 or so year ago.

…Meh. I snagged Winter and Summer but haven’t even finished using all the products in the summer box! Still got a few body washes and lotion jars to go through, but all the hair products were totally awesome for me. It was nice to discover what worked and tamed my hair in this intense, southern humidity!

I actually have a basket set aside for all the products… it’s like a mini-store for my bathroom. I ran out of top coat polish the other day and found one in the basket from the Summer box… no emergency trip to the store needed.

This one though, it looks like there’s at least 6 products I wouldn’t use. I’m turning away from US skincare and sticking to Korean skincare brands, so most of these like the mainstream cleansers and moisturizers wouldn’t be for me since I’ve already invested in long-lasting, quality products. I am also not blonde, brunette, or tan. The only thing that looks exciting is the spinning toothbrush and Organic Doctor products. So I guess I can save my 50 bucks for more Korean skincare! ^^; …and maybe buy myself a spinning toothbrush.

Thanks Liz for the heads up, setting up in my calendar to make sure Ill be able to get it. I must say I been getting hook up to subscription boxes thanks to you reviews, theres so many box subscription out there that I didn’t know about.

I will definitely try to get the box, I use some of the products anyways so why not. I have heard some many things about the Allure box and trying like a maniac sounds like Black Friday to me 🙂

Ugh. Not a chance. Not interested in drugstore products… if I was I would buy things specific to my own needs. Good luck to people who are trying for this!

Wow this looks pathetic. I’m kind of happy this box sucks..After the stress of not getting one last time after trying like a maniac and being so stressed out, I’m kind of glad this one is awful so I don’t have to go through that mess again.

Pretty excited at all the people that aren’t pleased with the box. Maybe that means this year I will actually get one of them because I will certainly be trying! =)

What a crappy, low end box! I stopped by wondering if they had a few better goodies they were separately announcing. Guess not! Pass.

Stephanie

There’s too much in there that I won’t use for me to justify it. Hopefully I won’t regret that when I see all the unboxings!

Kristi

A lot that I would use…. my problem with the last box was it was hair product heavy. This one seems more rounded, with more skin care.

I sure hope I can get in again and snag a box. I hope that Allure starts limiting boxes to 1 per person.

I have been lucky enough to snag the last 3 Allure boxes, but there was hardly anything in them I used, so I ended up swapping and giving a lot of it away. I bet that since I actually want more than half the items in this box, I won’t be able to get one, lol. But I’ll try!

I am impressed, what is your secret to getting any of the bags, the last promo was a website disaster… I don’t think I’ll try again, not worth the stress. 🙂

If you become an allure enthusiast you get to buy the box 3days before it goes on sale to the public.

Perhaps now Sample Society is also officially an Allure brand, they’re differentiating this Beauty Box and SS as drugstore vs. high end? The amount that you receive in this is pretty amazing (must be a huge, heavy box!), but personally I have no use for more than half of the stuff, and CVS keeps on giving me 20-30% off coupons every week, so it is not such a great deal for me as it appears.

The value is definitely there monetarily.

In “will I use it” value, it’s not worth it.

So many hair products!

Beth

Good to know I’ll be one of the few ordering this! Maybe checkout will go a lot smother than it did with the summer box… Yeah, most of this is drug store stuff, but most of the types of products in this box I buy on a regular basis anyways. I look at it as saving me money. And I get to try a few new products along the way. The only thing I will not use is the Redkin Blonde Idol, because I am not blonde.

Lisa

I love this box! There are many items I already use and that covers the cost of the box. I’m glad there isn’t a ton of hairspray. Super excited!!

Thanks for giving us the heads up : )

Although I’m not thrilled with the products in the box (where is the tarte mascara or it cosmetics? Not even one high end item?) with 24 products in the box (25 if you count both polishes) and around $60 for the box with tax and shipping that is still around $2.50 per product and I can’t get the majority of the items for that even with sales and coupons!

PJ

Wow, what a sad box this time. I don’t mind hair care but this is ridiculous. The highest priced item is $18, last box we got the IT CC cream ($38) and a Tarte mascara ($22?). Sorry, but I will actually pass this time.

Maddie

I like being introduced to non-drugstore brands through the Allure box, but this is still an amazing value even though I’ve at least seen, if not tried, most of these products.
