Vegan Cuts Beauty Box Subscription Review – July

The Vegan Cuts Beauty Box is a monthly beauty and makeup subscription box. All of their products are vegan (and they tend to be natural and healthy too!). They also typically include a nice mix of full size and sample beauty items.

Each beauty box comes with a card detailing the items included for that month.

Vegan Cuts Beauty Box Subscription Review – July 2014 Tattoos

This month also included some Vegan Cuts temporary tattoos! (I subscribe to both the snack and beauty box - and they ship in the same box, so I'm not sure if this goes with the beauty or snack box).

Vegan Cuts Beauty Box Subscription Review – July 2014 Lipstick

Ellovi Butter - .34 oz Value $2.50

Emani Vegan Cosmetics Lipstick in Temptress - FULL SIZE!  Value $18

I've sampled Ellovi lip balm before and I love it, so I had a feeling I would like this body butter too! It's made with only 6 wholesome ingredients, and I think this small size is great for cuticles, hands etc.

I was really excited to see a full size lipstick in this box, but this is probably the one shade of lipstick Emani makes that I know I can't pull off. It will be swapped or gifted!

Vegan Cuts Beauty Box Subscription Review – July 2014 Blush

Savvy Boheme Bath and Body Oil in Tall Americano - 2 oz Value $8

Nouveau/Organica Organic Cream Color in Compassion - 1.5 g (Full size palette unit) Value $9.99

This bath and body oil has a scent of coffee, citrus and vanilla - it's wonderful! Now I'm thinking about buying the Vanilla Latte Creme lotion!

I added a quarter to this picture since the cream blush was so small, but it turns out it is full sized! (Noveau/Organica just does palettes and interchangeable pieces for eyes, cheeks, lips etc). Fortunately a little goes a long way with this color, so it will last a while. I

Vegan Cuts Beauty Box Subscription Review – July 2014 Lotion

Original Sprout Hair & Body BabyWash -1 oz Value $2

Just The Goods Hand and Body Lotion Samples (.25 oz each) - Value $1

This Hair and Body wash works for everyone, but it definitely has a bit of a baby-product scent. I was kind of annoyed by the sample size and packaging of these "Just The Goods" lotions, but the lotion is fantastic. I'd say it's more of a body butter consistency, and both the lavender and peppermint scents are great - I just wish they would have sent more usable sample sizes/containers!

Verdict: I paid $20 for this box and received about $40 worth of beauty items. I wasn't super wowed by this box at first, but after trying everything, it turns out I'll use every item except the lipstick, and I discovered three new brands I really like, so I ended up being happy with this month's Vegan Cuts Beauty Box! What do you think of the July Vegan Cuts Beauty Box?

I just got 2boxes from them, Facial Care and Beauty essentials. It was supposed to be 11 at least 17 products. I didn’t get the vanity advertised and most of the products were the same. I got the same lipgloss twice in the same color. I’ sad because I reLly liked the products, but I don’t count one-use samples as a product and I’m pretty short from the 17 advertised. I hope my monthly box doesn’t let me down….i just subscribed!

Update!
I contacted them and they were super nice. They will send me the missing bag! 🙂 I totally forgive the doubles!
I got my July box today and I got the same as Liz. The coffee oil smells sooooooo good! I actually like when I get small make-up samples ( or sample size make-up for that matter) it takes less space in my overcrowded make-up drawers….
The lipstick colour was a bummer, but my niece will love it! Is good that I have teenage nieces and friends’ girls, as a 37 yo, I get lots of stuff that’s way past my date…. 🙂

I love the color of the lipstick! And your description of the Savvy Boheme Bath and Body Oil makes me want some too.
