With Prize Candle you also can buy candles individually without signing up for the monthly club. When you add a candle to your cart you will see this:
Just click the “No Thank You.” under the Save Now button if you want to try out Prize Candle without signing up for their club subscription.

Prize Candle includes instructions for how their candles work on the box – this is great if you plan on gifting one!
The scent I got to try is Island Citrus. It’s a nice summery scent.
And this is what my prize looked like immediately after pulling it out of the melted wax candle with tweezers. (I think this is the adult version of getting the free toy out of the cereal box – I couldn’t wait for the wax to melt down!)
The ring sizes vary between 6-10, and come with a code so you can go back to the Prize Candle site and get your ring appraised. (I really like this part since I tried another similar candle/ring before and had no idea if I had received a valuable ring!)
A better look at my ring. I entered the code on their site and found that it’s worth…
$25 – not bad, although I probably wouldn’t know the difference between a $10 and $25 ring.
Verdict: I enjoyed my Prize Candle experience – the ring isn’t my style, but I’m sure someone will enjoy it as a gift! And the candle itself was very nice! I’m not sure yet if I’d recommend subscribing, or just buying Prize Candles when there are deals. Personally I think I’d prefer to just wait for a deal like this 222 coupon and stock up so I can pick out the scents I want and get them 50% off!
