Kiwi Crate Free Trial Box Review

Kiwi Crate is a monthly craft, activity and learning subscription box for kids. They're currently offering a free trial box that let's you see the type of projects you can expect with a monthly subscription, so I decided to sign up and review it!

Kiwi Crate Free Trial Box Review! First Look

FYI, this box is free, but it does cost $3.95 shipping. It's also not the same size as a full Kiwi Crate subscription, but it's a full project and will give you an opportunity to try out Kiwi Crate!

First up is the activity for the box - making a starlight lantern. They've included everything you need to complete the project, including an LED candle!

The included booklet shows you what you get to make the lantern, and also has step-by-step illustrated instructions:

(You can see what the finished project looks like here). In addition to the craft project, there's also an activity book: Explore.

It's a play and learn magazine that features activities:

Verdict: I think Kiwi Crate is a wonderful subscription box for kids. I reviewed one a while ago and then sent it to my cousin, and her mom let me know that it provided hours of activities and fun. I also really like how they involve different science concepts with each box, and I think it's great that Kiwi Crates are all gender-neutral!

After getting this free trial box, I can't wait to give it to my cousin, and I'll keep my subscription going so I can continue to send her new projects each month!

Have you tried the Kiwi Crate free trial box offer? What did you think of the box?

Kiwi Crate is the best subscription box I have found for kids. My 9 year old son and my 5 year old daughter always LOVE to get their monthly box of art activities. The supplies are always high quality and now the magazine they’ve started including gives us ideas for other projects as well.
