Fancy Box $20 Mystery Box – Women’s Edition

Well in the end the medium box worked out for those around me, just not for me. My teenage son loves the shark tooth necklace. My sister loves the sunglasses and nail art. Waiting to see what Nicky Hilton Fancy’s box brings to decide if this company is for me. Everyone else around me loves it.

I ordered the $40 Large box and was mega-disappointed – it seemed like the medium box except people with the medium box got higher valued items than my Large. Mine had the Creature Cup (Shark), Fancy Wayfarer Sunglasses, Kinfolk issue 11, and music branches (2-way splitter for ear buds). Total value is $63. I contacted Fancy and they assured me I’d gotten a Large even though I saw reviews for these items under Medium and Small (I think that means no matter what you buy you can get any of them so may as well stick with $10 one). They gave me a choice of $20 Fancy.com credit or a Women’s $10 box for free. If the free shipping came around again I’d go with the $20 credit but I’m thinking of going with the $10 box hoping they try to get me a good one.

I saw my sister yesterday. She loves the sunglasses and nail wraps. The sunglasses look great on her.

I stopped ordering from Fancy after my last mystery box produced ANOTHER vinyl “wall art” item. Who comes up with these things? How in the world does that plastic envelope sell for $30? No thank you! I do, however, enjoy your reviews Liz. Can’t wait until your box comes out!!

the Fancy Food box this month was AMAZING… highly recommend that one! all their other boxes seem like duds so far. i was skeptical about the food box, but the value this month was almost $80! worth looking into!

I got the same box as you, Liz. At first I thought they sent a $10 box by mistake since the “big ticket item” was included in past $10 mystery boxes. At least my men’s box was better (mason jar shaker, sunglasses, sasquatch soap, and hot dog slicer).

Last time I did a 10$ mystery box and I really liked it, minus that neon card holder thing that I see has now made it’s way to the $20 box. Since there was the free shipping coupon I decided I’d do another $10 box, I haven’t received it yet but now I’m thinking it’s going to be a big disappointment

Wow, I totally dodged a bullet! I thought this had to be the small box because these items are terrible. I’m shocked to find out it’s a medium one! I ordered the medium and got the box with the necklace, sunglasses, nail wraps, and chapstick. I’m incredible happy with it and can’t believe so many good items came in this one.

The sunglasses alone were worth the $20, and at least no neon card holder included in our box!

I got the same box Liz did. The men’s box was worse – 4 piece shaker set with 3 pieces that don’t open – laughable. The 3 other things were dollar store items. I am ashamed of myself for spending money on this but Fancy should be ashamed to sent junk.

Kinfold Vol 11 Magazine/Book? – no use for this whatsoever…
Chef’n Zeel Peel Orange Peeler – already traded
Passport Manager by Zero Per Zero – great for a couple of upcoming out of country trips I have planned
A.J. Morgan gold and tortoise shell rimmed wayfarer type sunglasses – pleasantly surprised how much I like these.

Although I feel like I was on the winning side of these mystery boxes for a change, this will probably be my last.

I got the $20 women’s box. I received a gold shark tooth Sophie Sparrow necklace, palm trees nail stickers, a Chapstick of sorts and a really nice pair of sunglasses that I would have really enjoyed if I did not need a prescription… overall, I am sick of palm trees and sharks after the Nina Garcia box, is like I am stuck in a bad luau time warp!

I think I might be over the “mystery” aspect….I really should stop being lazy and start swapping, lots of stuff in my subs stash/graveyard!
