Lisa, I agree with you. I’m new to Julep and so far I really like their polishes. But I think their products are overpriced and the deals they come out with also seem inflated. It’s too bad they do this kind of stuff because it causes customers to lose faith in their company. Because of the overpriced products and “deals” that aren’t quite as fantastic as they want you to think, I don’t think I’ll continue as a customer for a long time.

I only joined because I had a promo code for a 3 month sub for $16.97. I’m buying all the clearance and sale stuff I can in that period, then canceling, because it turns out I do like the polish. But yeah, I would never pay $14 for a single (half-sized, basically) bottle of polish. It does seem that the product values are inflated.

Julep’s deal doesn’t really make much sense – the “summer’s in the bag” set INCLUDES “…10 Clean Slate Polish Remover Pads AND a tote bag of your choice” – yet they say you have to enter in a code to get the actual tote bag. I don’t see how this set is a $150 value WITHOUT the tote (that would mean those 7 items have an average cost of $21.43 each item). How can you be getting the tote “for free” with the TOTES coupon code?

Well, some of the items are worth more than the amount you estimated and the tote would be $25 without the promo code so I don’t really know what or why you don’t understand it unless I don’t understand what your trying to say.

Well what they have listed as the “summer’s in the bag” set INCLUDES the bag (the list above says AND a bag of your choice) – so why would you ALSO have to enter a code to get the bag for free? It is already included, so it says in the list.

But I bet they give you that code to prevent you from using other codes.

Plus, it just seems like the value isn’t there – as in the prices seem pretty inflated to reach that $150 value
