JustFab Subscription Review - June

JustFab is a monthly shoes and accessories subscription service. Every month on the first they release new styles, and you can pick any item you want, or skip that month. I’ve been subscribing for a few months and I’m very impressed with the quality of the shoes for the price.

Thanks to the suggestions from fellow subscribers I decided to try out their jeans this month!

JustFab Subscription Review - June 2014 Jeans

Signature Skinny Solid Jean in Blue Shield - Value $49 (I paid $39.95)

I am pretty picky when it comes to jeans, but I ended up really liking these! I have a few pair of skinny jeans, but theses are the only ones I've ever tried that felt tight in the calves at first. (Fortunately after wearing them for a few hours they stretched out a little). I lucked out on sizing too. I went with a size 29 (I'm normally a large at sites like Forever 21, Golden Tote, Modcloth, Free People, etc), and the jeans fit perfectly. I think I will be buying more jeans from them in the future - I'll just wait for their next denim sale!

Verdict: I'm really happy with my JustFab purchase this month, and I was able to get a free year of InStyle magazine with my order too. (I believe if you have over $35 in your cart you get a free magazine offer). Here are the current free magazine subscription options I'm seeing in my cart today:

Free Magazines

Now I want to place another order to get a year of US Weekly for free! (My addiction to subscriptions is not just limited to boxes!)

What do you think of JustFab? Have you tried their clothing?

I was a member over this past winter, but I had to cancel because their stuff falls apart! I got over the knee boots which I loved, but they won’t stay up – they fall down like an old pair of socks. I got two handbags and both of them broke. Customer service isn’t bad, but if I wanted disposable clothing, shoes and boots, I would shop at Walmart (not!)!

This company is a ripoff. I tried to cancel there $39.95 a month and they didn’t cancel it in time. They caused my bank to overdraft. So now I am out a good chunk of cash. They wont refund any of the money and want me to pay more to order stuff and use my “credits”. There customer service is awful and not helpful.

Hey, love the review! I just signed up and ordered my shoes (still waiting for them to ship) but I was wondering, how long did it take for you to get your magazine subscription? It is in my order receipt but I didn’t get any kind of confirmation yet from the magazine company… Just wondering! Thanks for your post!

As a past employee of Hearst Publications, I can explain this and issue a warning for you. First, when the mags and the boxes do these offers, the box company holds onto all the orders they receive for x amount of days, then they send the orders to the mag company in large batches instead of one by one. this can take up to two weeks. Once the subs are received by the mag co, they are processed in batches. This can also take two weeks. Once the mag sub is in the system, you will be sent the issue that is next in line for release, and once it is sent, it takes 6 weeks for you to receive your first issue. You should be receiving issues on a regular basis after that. It takes weeks to get started, but you will receive the full subscription. Now for the heads up–9 times out of 10 the mag co will sign up up under an automatic renewal and automatically charge the credit card or send you an invoice letting you know you owe them for another year. make sure you call customer service at the magazine and let them know that you do not want automatic renewal if you choose to not renew. If you do chose to renew, call them anyway. The auto renew is VERY expensive and if you ask the cust service rep what the best price they can offer on the phone is, it is likely half of what the auto renew is charging, and sometimes even less than half. Hope this helps!!

Do I contact the specific magazine company from which I am receiving Magazines or do I call JustFab?

Liz Cadman

With these free magazine subscriptions, typically I’d say it takes 4-6 weeks and then the magazine just shows up – no warning or note!

Hi, I have a few free magazine subscriptions from Justfab order and I don’t really read them but I was wondering do those magazine stop coming when it end or the magazine will keep coming and my account will be charge without/late notice.

Do they always have jeans and other stuff? I was assuming it was JUST shoes… If there are jeans and clothing items, it seems a little more worth it, since I don’t need shoes…

I took a look at the site and it seems they sell purses, jeans, jewelry, and a few clothing items. I also ran across nail polish.
