Jennifer Love Hewitt Fancy Box Subscription Review - May

The Jennifer Love Hewitt Fancy Box is one of the celebrity Fancy subscription boxes. (We’ve been subscribers to the Jennifer Love Hewitt Fancy box since the first month, but this month Fancy offered to send me this box at no cost for review purposes).

Jennifer Love Hewitt Fancy Box Subscription Review - May 2014 Card

Each box comes with a folded card detailing everything in the box, and each item has a quote from JLH on why she picked it.

Jennifer Love Hewitt Fancy Box Subscription Review - May 2014 Clutch

Quirky Mesh Bottom Beach Clutch - Value $30

The concept behind this clutch is that you can unsnap it and shake any sand that got in the clutch during your time at the beach. (I officially need to go to the beach more often, because I couldn't really relate to the problem this clutch solves!)

Jennifer Love Hewitt Fancy Box Subscription Review - May 2014 Inside

(An inside look at the mesh). I love the neon color on this clutch, but I have so many clutches from subscription boxes right now I'll probably ending up swapping this one.

Jennifer Love Hewitt Fancy Box Subscription Review - May 2014 Sunglasses

NCLA Pink Flamingo Nail Wraps - Value $16

Quay Kitti Sunglasses - Value $40

These sunglasses are kind of fabulous, but unfortunately I would never wear them in public - I can't pull off the look! (I tried them on though, and they even seemed a little too small for my face).

Jennifer Love Hewitt Fancy Box Subscription Review - May 2014 Unplug

I Need To Unplug Journal - Value $16

This is a journal for taking time away from all your electronic devices and writing down why you need to unplug for that day. I definitely need to unplug more, but I think I just need to remind myself to take time to read more!

Verdict: This box has a retail value of a little over $100. The value is good, but this month the items just aren't for me personally - I think I will be swapping quite a few.

What do you think of the May Jennifer Love Hewitt Fancy Box?

I am SO SO SO envious of your Quay sunglasses. They have been on my WANT list for months but I never have the extra 40 bucks to buy them. I.Am.So.Jealous!

I would use the clutch to hold my sunscreen, lip balm, and brush when I go to the beach. you could just toss it in your larger tote, and be able to shake the sand from all those items that the sand really likes to stick to! :o)

I don’t get the purpose of the clutch, either. Not the best box I’ve seen from JLH. Not even close. I’m pretty over NCLA nail wraps. Between Fancy and Popsugar they’ve swamped us with them. And I never wear them so they go to waste.

I’ve always wanted to try them for my nails. If you ever want to give them away to a newbie in all this subscription boxes. I’m just getting started. So far I have received 3 boxes fom Grazer.com fruit n nuts boxes, my husband got Loot Crate and I’m waiting to receive my first Gizmo Crate.

Does anyone ever actually buy nail wraps or does NCLA exclusively exist to supply subscription boxes?

I couldn’t ever pay $16 for nail wraps but have gotten a lot from subscription boxes and love them! I really hope they keep coming. And I seriously love those flamingo ones! So cute!

Haha – I wonder if that’s their not-so-secret business plan. Because they are overtaking subscription boxes!

What I want to know is who would actually pay $16 for a pack of them…..
