I’m still waiting for my May box and the tracking info isn’t working. I’ve been with Glossybox for almost a year and this is the first time I’ve had a problem with them 🙁 Worried I won’t get the gc until after it’s expired…

Hi Angee,
I would suggest you call CS directly (if you haven’t already done so). I received an email from them on Friday saying that boxes that are late will have a July expiration date. However, I called them this morning to see if my May box has shipped and was told that they cancelled my order way back on May 22 because they’ve sold out. Why they didn’t just tell me that back on May 22 and refund me immediately, I’ll never know (SIGH). She offered me a “free” June box (except it’s not free since they took my money for May without sending me anything. Can you tell how bitter and annoyed I am? lol). Anyway, I asked for a refund and just cancelled my subscription. I know most people have great experiences with Glossy and I’m relieved. I just don’t ever want to risk it for myself.

Does anyone know if Glossy box gives more than one sneek peek? I am debating on giving it another month or cancel. I have received my 1st 2 boxes in a timely manner considering they don’t come in the same month.

I’m seriously getting pissed now. This is the 2nd package I’ve had that said delivered and I haven’t received it yet. I thought Glossybox was just taking a while but I checked the tracking and it said it was delivered. Where the hell is it? It said it was sent on Friday. I was home all day and nothing. Now I don’t know if they will send me another one a second time but I have to either complain to Glossybox or have it sent somewhere else. I live in a NYC apartment but this has never happened to me before. I wonder if I should file a complain with USPS or ask around?

My tracking ended May 28th and I never got my box. This was my first box from glossybox too and I am so disappointed. I eventually got a refund but would’ve preferred my box. I was really looking forward to it! I cancelled my subscription since reading if all their shipping issues and then experiencing that with my very first box. Any recommendations for a similar box?

I have mine sent to my husbands work because I always have problems with packages being delivered here (apt. building).

USPS will always leave it unless GlossyBox specified not too which they don’t. They have had soooo many issues this month, its not USPS its glossybox. And good luck getting a response from their customer service!

I just got my 3rd and final May Glossybox today. The tracking info never showed it being delivered today, it said Thursday or Friday, but to my surprise after coming home from the pickup line all yucky I see my box and it made my day. The expiration date is July 15 but on my other two boxes that were delivered in May said June 15 and I’ve all ready spent them. Fancy overpriced lippy but fun. I hope you ladies get your boxes. I’ve had good luck with CS. I hope you all do as well.

I actually haven’t had a bad experience with CS either. I wrote to them about something non order related (basically that I don’t do Facebook so I can’t enter their Facebook contests) and they did reply. I didn’t entirely like the answer, but I did get one and it was specific to my question. Took maybe two days, maybe less? Not as bad as all the people who complain about it say (at least in my experience).

You got lucky! Im not going to get my box until well after the gift card expires because of a shipping error on their end and ive been sending FB messages and emails and cannot get a response from them. My sister had an issue where they had charged her card 3x and it took a 8 days! for them to get back to her and then another 17 days before she got the money credited back to her account. She cancelled, I wish I would have! It really is unfortunate because I love their boxes, but this stuff is supposed to be fun, not give me migraines!

Does anyone know when the gift card in the May box expires? My box was supposed to be delivered today and I got a note from the post office that Glossybox did not put enough postage on the box so they couldn’t deliver it. And if I don’t pay it by the 8th its getting sent back. Well I work during post office hours so I guess its getting sent back. My guess is it will be end of june before i get my May box and im worried the gift card will be expired.

I wonder if mine was sent back too. I had a notice from USPS saying that I owed postage too, and when I went to pick it up, they couldn’t find it. This is only my second box, and I’m quitting after my sub ends.

This was part of their mother’s day box issues. They were trying to send items via air that must be delivered by ground, and the boxes were being rejected by the carrier. They really have a logistics problem. It’s a shame, because when I finally get my boxes, I think they are usually the best one I get each month.

I am new to glossybox but still haven’t received my first box from May. My tracking says it was out for delivery on 5/28 but I still don’t have it. Is this common? I’m worried because the tracking said it would be delivered 5/29. I’ve emailed glossybox but they aren’t much help….

I just received my box yesterday. I actually emailed them yesterday after I received the June box spoilers but hadn’t yet received my May box. They responded within 24 hours with my tracking info and that they hoped it was worth the wait. Doesn’t make up for it being super late but oh well. i signed up for a year subscription with a Living Social deal so I just have to deal with it. I really think they should focus on their existing subscribers and making sure they get theirs first but oh well.

Mine was supposed to be here a week ago and never showed. I emailed CS and they actually got back to me pretty quickly to let me know that someone in the warehouse forgot to put my apartment number on my box. Seriously? Now it’s unlikely I’ll get my gift card before it expires and that’s pretty much the entire reason I did a three month sub 🙁

It is VERY common and the reason they routinely lose customers after the first month. Let’s just say that they don’t depend on loyalty to be successful. It almost sounds like your box was just plain lost. Emailing glossy is pointless in my 2 years of off and on experience. You’ll need to call customer service if you want to fix things. I would also try posting to their FB page since they don’t love negative press there and tend to reply much faster than to emails. If they even respond to emails at all. This is a no kidding monthly occurrence for Glossy. They promise a certain delivery window and then it passes with no delivery and they respond by gas lighting customers saying “oh no, it’s actually shipping THIS week.” They don’t send out preemptive communication and stay in response mode only, which is horrible customer service period. Customers shouldn’t have to chase down what they paid for, ever. So yes, it’s standard to not receive a monthly box until the following month, as late as mid month at that. But it really does sound like yours went missing en route. Good luck!

I went home today on my lunch break & my BG box with my 2 Clinique items I ordered with my gift-card were there. Even though it wasn’t too exciting of a purchase it was definitely practically & they both will get used. I paid $1.50 after using my GC for my face wash & toner. I’m not much of a nail art gal myself so I am curious to see what else is coming. =)

I just got my May box this morning! The coupon does indeed expire on June 15th so that is pretty crappy that it has such a short expiration date. When so many don’t have their box or like me just got it.

I’m done with glossybox. I still haven’t gotten my May box & the only reason I’m getting the June box is cuz I have enough Glossy Dots to get it for free. I can’t take their ridiculously slow shipping & bad customer service. Switched to BoxyCharm

I think it’s pretty bogus that the exp date on the Bergdorf Goodman’s GC is coming up so quick when so many people don’t even have their boxes yet! I just got mine yesterday.

If I wasn’t already a subscriber, this wouldn’t get me excited. I’m not a nail art kind of gal and I don’t think I’d wear either of these colors on their own.
